Well I did wonder why he had an armed escort and none of the others who came in for a chat did.

Nice little chat they had there whilst he pointed a gun at her and didn't obey commands.

Explains why normal interviews aren't done in glass walled rooms I suppose.

That was an excellent bit of shooting, I must say. Though I did enjoy the ending.

The peculiar escape route did help her get an aim on the heavy car that ran her over!

Despite the last bit being bks, I loved it. I can't wait for the next series. They I my opinion just get better and better.

I do think Steve and Kate will end up together mind you.

Thoroughly enjoyed. The only annoyance for me was Dot pointing the gun at Kate and her not pulling the trigger. You absolutely would in that scenario. I did enjoy the armed guard "urgent exit required" text, it showed how connected he really was.

Depsite us, the viewer, knowing for a long time that Dot was the Caddy, they did a great job on wrapping it up. Even the drawn out interview scenes are really good.

All three series of Line of Duty have been good. Pity it got so far fetched in the last 10 minutes of the last episode. I know there has to be some artistic licence, but would an armed officer really commandeer and then hang off a civilian truck whilst chasing another armed person? Doubt it. They would probably be investigated by AC-12 for doing so! And as for that shot hitting the moving Range Rover from that distance, I did laugh at that.

Great tv. It's been unmissable.

Just the equally excellent Peaky Blinders to look forward to on Thursday evenings now!

Superb single shot, took out the fully protected driver and Dot Cotton in the side of his head.

The armed guards on standby during an interview did heavily signal the mayhem at the end.

But apart from that, this has to be some of the best drama to come out of the BBC.

Such a pity, really great drama during both Steve's and Dot's interviews. But come on the last 10 minutes bordered on farce. The whole drop the gun shouty bit, the Range Rover driving around for 5 minutes to give her the kill shot from 300 yards yeah right.

Which is a shame as it spoiled an excellent series. Despite the plot holes were large enough to drive a tank through.

I can forgive the last 10 minutes, I thought the series was superb. It was good that everything was wrapped up, rather than another cliffhanger we would have to wait another year for the story to continue.

I know certain parts were unbelievable, but this was riveting TV from start to finish. In my view, it did what TV drama is supposed to do, entertain.
