Superb single shot, took out the fully protected driver and Dot Cotton in the side of his head.
I thought Dot just banged his head in the crash. He wasn't wearing a seat belt.

2 minutes at the start of the episode to wrap that up would've been good. I suspect he would've called one of his mates for a pickup though, which would've gave the ending away a bit as he looked like a bike of a lone wolf this series trying to get in the clear.

So she shot through the passenger window missing the front seat person and hitting the driver - christ ! and from 300 yards.

The additional gunman/passenger was in the back seat with Dot

The crash had to happen for the plot obviously, it doesn't mean she actually shot the driver. She shot the car, probably the window and the driver crashed. He's probably unconcious in the driver seat.

Plot holey, yes but so what it was really good.

What an ending! The interviews were great to watch. It was so tense, especially when Kate clocked on to the fact he was in fact the caddy.

The thing that annoyed me about the end was the Range Rover not just flooring it in the other direction instead of lapping that estate. A great series though and I'm glad it all got tied up.

laugh

Provided they get a 5* rating, Ubers aren't fussy.

It's even more annoying when you actually know where that was in real life laugh

By feck she can run. North Street to Tates Avenue in the blink of an eye.

Filmed in Belfast. Not uncommon to have passengers like that.

I would imagine in 'real life' there would have been some sort of investigation into that sort of thing as it probably broke all sorts of rules.

There were a fair few holes, and whilst the ending did seem to suddenly go a bit silly, I didn't feel as short changed as I did at the end of S2, when they seemed to wrap everything up in 2mins.

Regarding the Range Rover - it looked to me as though driver and front passenger (if there was one) got away.

If Fairbank was previously considered not mentally fit enough to stand trial, how would that have changed even if there was more evidence? Don't you have to be of sound enough mind to be considered to stand a chance of a fair trial?

And who made the call for armed guards to be present during Dot's interview? One can only assume it would have been Hastings. In which case, if you were Dot, would you not have been asking serious questions as to why there was an armed presence during a voluntary interview?

It's a mark of how good it is though, that despite all the obvious questions about the plot, most of us that watched still enjoyed it hugely.

Sorry just occurred, Dot MUST have been shot to actually die from his head wound in minutes now did you notice his head wound was on his right redface)

Dot was killed because he used himself as a human shield to protect the woman from being shot. I think it was three shots to the body.

He died from standing in front of a hail of bullets coming from the shooter in the back of the RRS.

Absolutely brilliant, thoroughly enjoyed it. I really liked the interview scenes, and the intensity of them.

For me, it's up there with The Shadow Line and Waking the Dead

Not sure Waking the Dead is in the same league. I bought my wife the complete box set, and when it's on, all I ever hear is Trevor Eve over acting and shouting a lot!

Sorry thought it was a head shot first then the hail of bullets later - will watch again I think.

I assumed the head injury was from hitting the seat in front during the crash

ok so last bit was a bit silly, Dot should have got away but hey ho, I think there are still questions to be asked, was it all about a cover up of child abuse or does the corruption go much deeper after all you had a police officer willingly kill another in a police station with an automatic weapon no question just a text and he starts opening fire.

Then man who killed Dot (kate hit the car or driver hence it crashed not Dot) he was all in black automatic weapon again is he covering for a peado gang or are things much deeper who was he a serving officer etc. An what else did Dot tell Kate etc.

All in all very gripping I was sad Dentopn died but then the caddy had to be found and then we discover AC 12 is supervised so it does not become too good at its job so will Ted find himeslf on the outside etc. Who knows but season 4 is 12 months or more away (Auterm 2017) it should be a cracker
