ok so last bit was a bit silly, Dot should have got away but hey ho, I think there are still questions to be asked, was it all about a cover up of child abuse or does the corruption go much deeper after all you had a police officer willingly kill another in a police station with an automatic weapon no question just a text and he starts opening fire.

Then man who killed Dot (kate hit the car or driver hence it crashed not Dot) he was all in black automatic weapon again is he covering for a peado gang or are things much deeper who was he a serving officer etc. An what else did Dot tell Kate etc.

All in all very gripping I was sad Dentopn died but then the caddy had to be found and then we discover AC 12 is supervised so it does not become too good at its job so will Ted find himeslf on the outside etc. Who knows but season 4 is 12 months or more away (Auterm 2017) it should be a cracker
Filming starts in August apparently.

Enjoyed that smile

End was a bit Hollywood but still good, I don't think I know anyone who could have made that shot hehe as soon as I saw the armed escort I had a feeling one or both would start shooting the place up!! Was anyone else shouting at the tv for her to "stop talking & just drop the !!!!!"

Next season should be good, in guessing they'll be on the tail on who's really pulling the strings, will be interesting to see how far up the chain this goes. When Denton got off and stood at the court steps I'm sure 4 or 5 of Dotts mobiles started going ape st!!

Good tv smile

Still a few loose ends :-

Jill ?? the police arbitrator - who was pulling her strings,

and the villians Dot was working for - still on the loose.

I think Hastings may have a 'past' and not too sure on Kate's real job. Who is she actually working for?

Either way, I'm thoroughly looking forward to next series.

Just to echo many thoughts here - excellent series, poor finale. Forgivable though.

Having spent the early episodes with an armed team we were already told how close they are, how well trained etc., so one of them just guns down his mate after getting a txt? WTF? Just what kind of motivation is Mr Big using?

As for Kate not shooting Dot despite numerous opportunities...she really should have been shot herself.

Still, next series to look forward to. Is the 'legal representative' a player?

Wow what an awesome ending. The final few mins may have been a bit OTT, but I don't care. The 'urgent exit required' text was pure brilliance. No fking about just straight to the point. We knew Dot was connected but I didn't see that coming at all.

I was expecting Steve's trial to continue into the next series.

Biggest disappointment is that it was the final episode weeping

I did expect them to wrap it up in the final 90 minute episode. They managed it for the others and then have the montage at the end with the eventualities for the people involved. I thought everyone's reaction to Steve's sex recording with Denton was really well done. A combination of disappointment, disgust and 'do we have to?'

The detail they go to every season is great, look forward to a new storyline. Surely the Tommy Hunter and that boys home one is completely wrapped up with Dot dead, the list in hand and people put away.

Loved the ending, it was like Hollywood coming.

The RR Sport also looked like it managed to change its wheels for the final crash scene too. These crims think of everything....

Wasnt a black RR Sport the baddie car in S2 for the ambush which kicked the whole thing off?

I got a feeling they might go after who was pulling Dots strings in the 4th series...and Gill to be put on the spot.

My theory is that the next series will have completely new characters. They wrapped the plot lines from Series 1-3 with Dot's death. They also showed sub titles at the very end of Thursday's episode telling us what happened to the surviving characters saying that Hastings, Arnott and Fleming carried on working for anti corruption and that Kate was promoted to DS. That all pointed to a total refresh for series 4. You know how Mercurio likes to keep everyone guessing

Shame on me. Lived on Tates Avenue for two years and missed the Belfast landscape. Interesting how mainland registered cars were always in focus while the NI plate one were always slightly out. Wonder is there film work out there for my early 80s VW Santana on an English plate?
