This is lining up to be a cracking finish, really can't wait to find out what was in the witness files.

The way Denton fked Arnott and Ted over was wicked.

Cracking 2nd episode. I am totally hooked again. I have to admit when the bike couriers turned up I was expecting a machine gun battle and Dentons escape lol.
Totally can't wait to find out what was in the witness protection, guessing that them having to start over and the pictures being removing from the brainstorming board means Denton is innocent.....for now.
Was amazing watching Denton take the team to pieces in the interview. :-)

Epi 2 - a corker!

Introspective detective detects the defectives.

That should cover it.

I really liked the first series, but, whilst not hating it, I'm find this harder going.

My comment at the end was 50 minutes filler and 10 minutes advancing the story.

My wife disagreed, so perhaps I'm just TV copped-out at the moment... I watched the first episode of Salamander and, although it looked good, I've not bothered with any more...

Huge boxes and bike couriers = poor attention to detail, but apart from that the quality of this program is superb.

The Sat Nav part was quite good, when Denton was claiming that she didn't know roadworks had ended on a different route.

Arnott got caught slipping too, tut tut.

Wonder if Fleming's will be caught having her affair?

The AC12 lot certainly seemed to know who the witness was.

Someone from series 1?

Could be but be a bit unfair on those that did not see series 1, hope it isn't a new character (hate it when characters are created just to make sure nobody guessed who it was).

But there's not a lot of people we already know who it could be.

The way they recognised who it was could it be a cop about to rat on fellow officers including the top bloke.

And Bolly Knickers help AC12 get him and voila she joins them for series 3.

Can't wait for tonight's episode, I NEED to know what the fk was in the witness files!!!

Not going to be Dentons day though;

Lindsay is denied bail and finds herself targeted in prison.

Didn't Cotton have a limp & walking stick in Series 1?

I thought that was Neil Morrisey's character with the stick.

I have to admit, three episodes in and I still have absolutely no idea what's going on! I am completely hooked though!

It does seem to me like they are putting all the evidence one way to throw a twist in later!

Hooked but a little disapointed that they are bringing in important information at this stage that could have been introduced earlier but has shock value by dropping it on you now. That is an American drama trick which is OK to use on Americans but a little insulting to the rest of us.

Still great entertainment though with a lot of subtle implication that has you second guessing.

I suspect this will end with you still trying to second guess what is the real truth.

I'm coming to the conclusion that I don't care about anyone in this series.

In the first series, the main character was sympathetic, if flawed, in this one no-one is at all sympathetic.

They're the most unlike-able group of people I've seen on TV since I accidentally watched 5 seconds of Big Brother in 2003.

Agreed but I feel this adds to the realism of the characters.
