Have a friend (now in his 30s) who loves it. When he house shared with me, I got quite into it. Even organised a coach trip for kids to go and see some of the shows in the UK.

I'm guessing round 2001(?) went to Sheffield and my friend caught The Rock's elbow pad when thrown into the crowd as part of the finishing move. Needless to say he was the hero to 50-odd kids on the way back and I still get asked about it if I bump into any of the kids (now not so kid-like) around town. Haven't properly watched it for years.

What do people think of Cena. He is easily the most marmite wrestler at the moment (and has been for some time now). I am not ashamed to say that I am a fan.

Yes he wins a lot but when he needs to (match on Raw against CM Punk for No.1 contender springs to mind) he can certainly bring it, plus his feats of strength are something to admire. His little roly-poly into the AA was pretty awesome this week on Raw.

Hate and like him at the same time, I used to love him on Smackdown 05ish times with his 'doctor of thuganomics' gimmick and the feud with JBL.

I wanna see him feud with Batista later, and him losing instead of winning all the time would be nice too.

I can't really see him turning heel, his the 'good guy' of WWE to a lot of fans, and honestly I just can't see him being a bad guy.

I can see people like Triple H, Brock Lesnar etc being bad guys, but not Cena, too many wins and title shots. Look at Triple H as a bad guy when he was feuding with Batista in 2005 or when he fked Randy Orton over with Evolution, or even when he turned on Ric Flair!

Even though he won the Royal Rumble, I would like to see Batista not win at Wrestlemania, I think Batista winning at the Royal Rumble was a mistake, he would have been much better used as a heel IMO, possible even feuding with Lesnar!

The thing with Cena is no matter what people think of him he does the very best that he can do. He shows the most commitment to the whole business of WWE. He does anything and everything they ask of him and still manages to find time to do a load of charity work as well. He's granted over 400 Make a Wish wishes and still keeps on going. He'll never turn heel as he has the biggest merchandise sales in the younger fan bases. He also fights for the younger wrestlers too and helps to push them to the next level as he did last year to elevate Daniel Bryan and is doing now to help Cesaro and Bray Wyatt.

Yes I am a fan of his for the main reason that he is WWE through and through.

Never liked Cena; limited, weak. No personality beyond the written word, the physical resemblance to Hogan is interesting, you can see why Vince got behind him and pushed him to the moon, even when he was an abject failure, he was Vince's starry eyed throwback to the 80s.

Anyone watched Elimination Chamber yet?

I'm halfway through at the moment and there has been 2 outstanding matches so far.

Big E vs Jack Swagger was an all out big bruiser wrestling match and surprisingly extremely entertaining.

The Shield vs The Wyatt Family? HOLY st! HOLY st! HOLY st! That was an all out war with an amazing last 5-10 minutes. I haven't watched the actual Elimination Chamber match but it is going to have to go some to beat Shield vs Wyatts

Watched it live. Wyatts v Shield was the best match of the night. Lots of fall out online over the chamber match result. Tonights RAW is going to be a belter.

Totally agree about the Wyatt Vs Shield match.... awesome stuff, match of the night. I won't say anything else in case it spoils it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

WWE = Male soap operas. I find it a great way to kill time.

Currently loving Cesaro, Daniel Bryan, Wyatt/Shield and the possible shield split.
Not so keen on Sheamus (he's a little wooden) and there are always a few to really hate.

I love to fking hate him! I have never disliked a heel as much as i dislike that tit.

But, his charity work is supreme, his work ethic amazing and when not in the ring he comes across as a genuinely enthusiastic and nice bloke.

Not a big fan of Orton but rather him, than the others, missing CM punk and i feel that the 2 man Tag Teams are particularly weak at the minute.

Daniel Bryan needs to be fueding with Kane all the time but i'm not sure he can carry off the Championship now, however some of the stuff him, Cesaro, Roman Reigns and a few of the others have been doing recently has been astounding.

I will post more in this thread when i have seen EC and Raw this week.

Can we please put any results or plots of very recent things in spoiler tags as i cannot read past the 3 post on this page. Ta.

Wyatt vs shield was superb.

EC result was so predictable once Kane came out.

Yeah we all knew that was going to happen. Wyatt vs Shield was definitely the match of the night, absolutely awesome entertainment. Have you seen the fallout on RAW yet?

Would've loved to see Bryan vs Punk at WM for the title. Would've been an instant classic.
I saw them team up in a tag match at the O2 last year.

The place went nuts.

Just watched Raw and apart from them plugging the WWE Network every couple of minutes it really started the Road to Wrestlemania storylines off.

The return of Hulk Hogan as host. A faked John Cena injury which actually turned real and the building of a feud between him and the Wyatts. More Wyatts versus the Shield. Daniel Bryan beating Kane and demanding HHH at Wrestlemania. And the highlight being the Undertakers return to face Brock Lesnar for the streak.

Currently recording Raw as it didn't record Monday night but I have read that Cena's injury wasn't genuine.

Next weeks Raw should be a must see, coming from Chicago with no real explanation as to CM Punks absence and a #hijackRAW appearing in last 24hrs, crowd is going to be lively.

Update to previous post:

Cena was legitimately injured but suffered a groin tear rather than a knee injury.

Also there are reports that Punk is returning to Raw tomorrow night.

Really looking forward to Wrestlemania but can only hope they learned from the Royal Rumble. Had to feel for Rey Mysterio when he was getting booed like that

Hope Cena loses tonight, and who do you thinks going to be the third man in the world title match between Orton and Batista?

Imagine Undertaker loses the streak, highly unlikely, but hope Brock Lesnar pushes him all the way.

I think Cena needs to lose tonight but Bray needs to do it cleanly with no outside interference.
