Something along the lines of he didn't dispute the money owed, but he was previously made bankrupt in 2011 and the debt should have been included under that bankruptcy proceeding. He has since applied to have it set aside...

But I'm sure as a result of this TV 'appearance' he will be hot property for a reality show....
Already done Im a celebrity get me out of here, Big Brother and Come dine with me. laugh

Bit of an eye opener that he couldnt even afford to pay off such a tiny debt...

I guess he feels the pressure of having to keep up appearances being such a big "celeb"... yet the reality is that he's hardly got a pot to p*ss in...

I guess his vile chav girlfriend is angry at having shacked up with a 'celeb' only to find out he's skint - great telly - love it

It's the evictions that get me. I understand that the landlords who want their property back, but the processes and laws are there to protect tenants and give them time to move on. To use the High Court Enforcement procedure to shortcut those protections seems to me to be inequitable, and in reality that's what we are seeing repeatedly, I suspect not helped by legal advisers not being aware of the the HCE route.

I reckon it's the other way round. He can pay, but is too arrogant to think he has to.

A classic example of the modern breed of induhvidual who thinks they have somehow elevated themselves over hoi polloi.

What amused me the most was her screaming at the enforcers about "look what you've dun ta mi kid" when:
a) they hadn't done anything except turn up
b) she was effing and jeffing in front of said child, nice parental example.

Still, you could say that she and Mr Ruddock are well matched. Another thick-as-pig-st footballer who played for a string of top clubs and even once for England, and has pissed it all away. Once he would have been super fit but now an obese alcoholic smoker. What a waste.

I think it was Swindon, one of his later clubs, where they had to have shorts specially tailored for him!!

I do think Ruddock probably battled with his weight throughout his career, obviously this is no excuse for now being a lying, debt-ignoring fool.

Agree. You can tell which modern day players are gonna be that size when they give up (Rooney).

His Mrs needs a good smack AFAIC. Where do they both get off blaming the enforcers for their kids getting upset when all they're doing is standing there & she especially is effing & blinding & telling the kid to 'get in the f*****g house'? rage
