What amused me the most was her screaming at the enforcers about "look what you've dun ta mi kid" when:
a) they hadn't done anything except turn up
b) she was effing and jeffing in front of said child, nice parental example.
Still, you could say that she and Mr Ruddock are well matched. Another thick-as-pig-st footballer who played for a string of top clubs and even once for England, and has pissed it all away. Once he would have been super fit but now an obese alcoholic smoker. What a waste.
I did think that her action on the kid, dragging it out by one arm, possibly bashing it on the doorframe...was juxtaposed adequately to her claims to the HCEOs. a) they hadn't done anything except turn up
b) she was effing and jeffing in front of said child, nice parental example.

And it is hard to believe that that huge thing in the picture above, was ever 'fit' enough to run about a field.

I think it was Swindon, one of his later clubs, where they had to have shorts specially tailored for him!!
I was drinking in a bar in swindon about a million years ago when the gentleman under discussion walked in with a few younger players. The pub was asked "are you swindon 'till you die". For safetys sake we decided that we were prepared to entertain the idea.
He was actually a good crack and signed stuff or had photos for all the Liverpool and hammers fans in the place.
(Needless to say there were no swindon fans)

Indeed, after he pulled up the kid got out of his car and ran away screaming and crying down the road.
They only asked him if he was Neil Ruddock. - Very odd behavior.
It was as if the poor lad had always suspected deep down inside that his father might indeed be Neil Ruddock but had always hoped he could just be a fat tramp who looked a bit like the ex-footballer. In the end was just too much for the poor kid bear when it was finally confirmed. They only asked him if he was Neil Ruddock. - Very odd behavior.

Without naming names. A famous person featured on that show was booked by my friend for a charity after meal talk (apparently he's quiet good).
2 weeks before the event the venue has to pull the plug, and no other suitable venue can be found. All money refunded, the special guest has other ideas though, and demands full payment (about £4k iirc).
When non existent money is not paid (it was for charity after all- he did keep the deposit), his agent threatens to send 'the boys around'.
Classy (they didn't pay and he's still alive)

It's the evictions that get me. I understand that the landlords who want their property back, but the processes and laws are there to protect tenants and give them time to move on. To use the High Court Enforcement procedure to shortcut those protections seems to me to be inequitable, and in reality that's what we are seeing repeatedly, I suspect not helped by legal advisers not being aware of the the HCE route.
To be fair they would have already had at least two months notice from the landlord.Lost soul said:

Yes but they did not say for how long she had not paid the rent for did they In fact, yes I do - the council will help her if she's been made homeless. If she's given up her home of her own making then they wont. She will have been advised not to pay rent then she will be evicted by a nasty landlord.
Was the fat bloke that came from next door to speak to the bailiffs Razor Ruddock?

The lady facing the 500k+ debt does not even seem too worried about all of this. Wonder what the background story to this is.
edit - ahh she got the cars back, I guess that's why she was so relaxed about things.
All leased, I reckon. Either trying to live a grand lifestyle, or really smart cookies who know how to play the game.edit - ahh she got the cars back, I guess that's why she was so relaxed about things.

Its certainly an interesting window into nosing other peoples lives.
I could not quite believe the melodramatic reaction by Ruddocks wife/gf. It was bad enough pulling the kid about then the swearing like a trooper in front of them and accusing the officers of upsetting her poor offspring but then she started chucking glasses of water over the two officers.i think you need an extra thick skin to put up with that level of totally uncalled for anger. The funniest thing about it though was that she was still spouting off (to herself i think) inside the house with the front door closed....the woman was a silicone enhanced mentalist gobste and instead of staying behind closed doors hoping the officers would go away she curiously kept coming outside to throw more verbal abuse around (and more water). Kind of like a stereotypical school bully who would push others away whilst saying "come on then".

Just to add. You can clearly see some people in financial dire straits whilst others delay and delay and protest to the enth degree that they cant raise the funds then at the 11th hour just as the officers begin thinking about lifting contents all this cash starts turning up.
The best one was probably in the last series with some chinese people....theyd not paid rent on their takeaway and owed about £7k. They looked piss poor but a family member turned up alright with a right wad of cash. Theyve got it and they play the system....

Have to say, regardless of genuine people falling on hard times, my chief sympathies lie with creditors. I fail to see why a landlord should have to subsidise someone's problems. Donald Trump is hilarious.
Quite so. I couldn't understand the situation with that Italian girl being evicted, notwithstanding the fact that the landlord had sold the flat and completion was taking place that actual day, which seemed a bit unfair. The voiceover said she had lost her job some time previously, and had 2 young kids, so why wasn't she getting housing benefit? Or, as I suspect, was the benefit being paid direct to her, and she was keeping it?When you get in arrears, you get constant reminders in the post - she reckons she only got one. What's she saying, that her landlord doesn't know the address of his own property? Reckless attitude to her kids' security. The ex-boyfriend was a complete tosser. I felt sorry for the kids, but she got what she deserved.
I used to work in house repossession - 80% of the time there was absolutely no excuse for the arrears to have happened. I even heard "but we badly needed a holiday". Irresponsible, feckless, unable to understand the enormity of the situation, and then they have the audacity to whine when the inevitable happens.
(PS you'd be surprised how often the wife keeps quiet to the husband because she's been spending the rent on bingo. They hide the post from the old man.)
