I felt sorry for the Siddiqui family. They showed real concern that Muslims might be ostracised by the rest of society because of the extremists. They're easily the most focused and perceptive of the Gogglebox regulars, and my heart sort of goes out to them.
100% - the dynamic between the dad and sons is really affecting somehow

I wonder if the mum's passed away perhaps?

Had to watch the Brighton family with hand over the remote to mute the raspy lad
Not sure what the point of the caraven dwellers is - no insight or humour that I'm aware of
I think easily the biggest "fail" by the programme producers is the 3 lads (students?). They have absolutely nothing to say, not even any personality. Little wonder we see nothing much of them.

Either very stupid or very clever. The stupid ones always get more air time on Googlebox.

She definitely isn't clever. 'When did this happen?' on the UKIP winning the next general election and needing her mum to explain several times that it wasn't a documentary then her continuing to whine about how could it be a documentary if it hadn't happened. She was having genuine difficulties with that particular programme.

She takes stupid to a whole new level way beyond any of the other regular dimwits.

Was quite amused at the lefties, e.g. Leon and Rev Kate having the frothing that this might give people ideas to vote UKIP where the Saddiqi family were far more pragmatic and asked why should C4 tell us what to think about UKIP and we should make up our own minds.

Thick as mince Geordie countered the accusations by citing her 2:1 degree in PE and Sports Science, 3 A levels and 13GCSEs. Gawd help the nation.

That's a fine advert for what most of us think of today's school qualifications. Not worth the paper they're printed on. It's all very well claiming that 90% (or whatever) of students passed with an "A", but how do you explain that the UK is 199th in the world tables behind the Peoples' Republic of BongoBongo*?

(* please excuse what might be considered by some as mild racism)

They appear in the trailers so guess they'll be back later.

Basic Instinct - "Is this a Disney film?"

BTW is that tattoo on the arm of the gay guy in glasses (fart-man) the symbol for the 2012 London Olympics?

The Saddiqi family weren't saying that in a good way you know. They were worried that the show would make people consider UKIP, as they couldn't possibly be as bad as the show portrayed.

To be honest I don't really care what way they were saying it, it's right that people should make their own minds up and not be subject to influence by twaddle regardless of favour towards or against a political party irrespective of which one it is.

Who's Nelson? She can't genuinely be that stupid, surely?

The Siddiqis are fast becoming my favourite family: it'll be a bit difficult finding matching outfits for the baby and the placenta.
