Mary and Giles make suicide seem like a positive option at times.

Cheers for that!

I'm quite enjoying CH4's take on the election, had to laugh at Darren just sat on a chair earlier on E4. smile

ETA: 20 minutes past 10, not sure they are going to bother showing this now. frown

I think tonight's (8th May) is the final episode in the current series.

Starting to think the show has run it's course, I like it but I'm not sure it's as innocent as it was earlier in it's life.

I think you are right.

Excellent viewing when it started, but now.....................................?

Yep completely run its course, too many of them playing to the camera, too much that seems scripted. Originally it was just a reflection of the viewers, namely folks sitting at home and firing out random blurts in response to the box. Now it's almost like a heavily edited and directed Points of View on the sofa with all real comments redacted or refined to the fifth re-take.

He didn't exactly seem like a healthy bloke so did well for 83. smile

Sad news. I think Leon and June's relationship really helped that first series become more than it would seem on paper.

I'll miss the regular " Leon, are you in the fridge again!?" He was always sneaking a cheeky cheese and cracker.

I didn't enjoy his vitriolic Tory-bashing. I wouldn't be surprised to find he was a member of Momentum. Sorry- not really an appropriate comment in the circumstances, I suppose.

Really sad news especially at this time of year. Always came across as so genuine and down-to-earth alongside his wife of 60-odd years.

No, it's not.
