Tonight's episode:

A Porsche Puzzle.
Tim and Fuzz head to East Anglia, where they hope to help a woman secretly restore a neglected 1980s Porsche 911 as a thank you to her devoted husband.

Trying to rotate a crank pulley with his bare hands and says the engine is seized. Then he takes the head off and miraculously the engine turns over.....only this time he used a power bar/ratchet.Are we supposed to be taken in by this ?

Then we have the false time schedule.

No different than any other car repair show really is it

I think one thing were missing folks is that we are all car people, thats why were on here and watch programmes like these. For lesser mortals than us the human interest/timescale conumdrum makes it more watchable for a broader audience. No harm in it if it gets us another season....

Turning into a good series this is. Whilst theres a little jazz to it all its a far less pretencious fromat than other stuff weve had to endure.

Clearly a LOT of people are working on these cars its a team not just Fuzz plus his lucky to fetch parts.

Its yet more choice for TV viewing - clearly though these sort of repairs are some way beyond DIY mechanic who can change the air filter and might try to change the oil but who cares its quality TV.

Really liked the Porsche the colour came our great and to think only a fuel pump had failed in 4 years of standing outside its remarkable (though given car age I'd be looking to change all the rubber and bushes and suspension throughout - might even have changed the exhaust for piece of mind.

It's thoroughly enjoyable stuff and why they do it is usually very heart warming. I like Tim too, very much a petrolhead and a decent presenter. The mechanic is a magician.

Agree. Really enjoying this programme.
As with many of these types of show, you have to suspend disbelief but it is still quite watchable, if a little staged.
