Genuine people like Fuzz must cringe when they have to spout added drama bu@@@@it to keep the producers happy.Just watched a repeat of the 911 episode "now if I damage this windscreen where on earth am I going to get another one".
'Oh the poor man has to work away in Aberdeen to look after his disabled wife'.Yes someone held him at gunpoint to go and earn £1500+ a week working offshore.
Oh how can they afford their Q5 if they are so skint, cheapest one on A.T. now is £11.5k.
CUT OUT THE BULL''IT,PLEASE.WE ARE NOT STUPID.

This series has just started on More 4. For some reason they began with the Cortina GT episode.

A lot of parts needed for that Cortina! Lever liked vinyl roofs on cars of the 60's and 70's!

Only caught part of it, did it have the sunroof to start with? It always seems to kill the value/saleability versus a solid roof.

Saw the Cortina one - first time I've ever seen an episode. Thought it was a good programme; even my OH sat and watched it.

Where was the shop that the exhaust came from? Even had gaskets for a model T Ford!

I think it's down Colnbrook/West Drayton way just off the A4...I think, I went there many years ago. Pretty certain it said Heathrow on the hoarding out the front.

This is where they were but it looks like they've moved to Egham, I bet it's nothing like in the programme now,,,

It was quite rusty smile It's about the only style of 911 I actually like.

Do love the car but what a quick repair job on the car! Dread to think of the price if you asked a garage to repair the car in 3 weeks! Lucky him!

New to this programme as I've just started watching it on More 4.

Not a bad programme. Can't believe how much better Tim comes across on this compared to his stint on Fifth Gear.

I thought that too. I also thought it was a bit odd that they were commenting on non structural floor panels etc and only mentioned the state of the chassis in the workshop - first thing to look at on any small Triumph.

I know panel alignment on Heralds is "challenging" but the way to fix it is definitely not to just move the rear tub back!

Was on telly last night (Nov 24), never seen it before, so gave it a spin. Daimler Dart/SP250 restoration; I think the looks, and Jaguar, killed the car more than the price.

Aargh, enough with the owner turning up unexpectedly while they're spiriting it away; does he really think it's only going for a new windscreen? Enough with the deadline drama, and telling us for the umpteenth time that the owner was injured in a plane crash, and gormless Tim's endless angling for a discount, and the valet-parking pantomime.

Not sure about refitting the trim with the original rusty screws either, and respraying the body while most of the mechanicals still need done...
