Had a double take with contestant James. Anyone else thinks he looks a bit like 'our' James??

Sorry - I forget sometimes! How silly of me to think that out of tens of thousands of members here on PH I could not remember James!! Must be losing my mind!

I liked Greg's "10 years, three marriages" comment.

The lindy-hop guy appears to know his onions, although I can imagine watching him dance must be terrifying as he appeared close to having a coronary on a couple of occasions.

The others, including the girl who went through, were a bit meh.

Lots of praise for the girl(sorry can't remember her name)who went through to the semis from the previous winners, though John and Gregg didn't seem to be as impressed - couldn't have been too bad as they put her through. Looking forward to tonight's episode.

The skull-faced lass who went through, the Indian or the Canadian? Or was it the bloke with the instant mash? wink

Gregg's comment to John:

Not word for word, but something along the lines of:

"You are entitled to the wrong opinion John".

"No one has eaten more cake than me".

Awesome. Carnal knowledge of someone you are watching on the telly is a delicious treat. Its like a little secret gift that you cannot share.

The American is more annoying than Peter Jones...which I though impossible.

I like the look of Kate's food but not sure she's done enough to get through.

That pork served with glue cooked by the big baby looked revolting! Glad he was kicked out.

Think the best two went through.

The Mrs said the same, they must have got a great deal on figs when stocking the larders for this series.
