Don't like that arrogant American saying how terrible his food was even though he won the competition.

A mixed bunch this evening - a shame Verity(sp?) is out, I'd like to have seen more of her. wink
So glad she went - face like a slapped arse and struck me as not being able to handle the pressure.

laugh I have to admit to being quite pleased she went. I got the impression she liked herself a little bit too much.

Spare incase they balls up the plating I guess...

If I went on it I'd be cooking double everything just in case then plating up an extra for the same reason.

They make four plates, three for the critics, one for G&J. Usually the contestants can only carry two plates at a time (although some can do three). No need for us to see them going back to the kitchen to get the third plate and then delivering that.

Probably.

I don't see what value Torode doing the invention test himself adds to the show.

It's very self-indulgent.

To show you how a professional chef might approach the often disparate set of ingredients, to set a benchmark for the competitors.

He must have been put up to that biggrin

I laughed when Greg said he wanted to see Jess soar, because I heard it as sore... and she was a bit flirty with him.
