I downloaded episode 2 to watch on the train and it was quite difficult trying to suppress laughter at times. As a rule I don't watch comedies on the train as I imagine I become a very annoying passenger sniggering to myself and trying to disguise laughs as coughs laugh

We know they have sat rehearsing their 'spontaneous' conversations, but they are still seriously witty, and Rob's imitations are pretty spot on. A very, very fine watch. Hope they make a third season - loving this one.

i loved the first series and very much enjoying the second series as well.
It is actually quite refereshing to have a programme that doesn't really pretend to have much of a plot, and just seems to able along with a few laughs and nice scenery. God I sound old.

More amusing than the last series, but the food review angle has been almost done away with this time

4 pages and no one has mentioned the choice of car?

Probably should be British so my vote would go for an Eagle E Type.

I don't know why but Rob's comedy "Can you guess how much the bill was?" bit at the end of every meal has me in pieces every time - its not as though I don't see it coming!

I mentioned the car on the 3rd page but I'm a MINI fan. I've had 3 so far and very likely to get a 4th next year. wink

I like Brydon - he's a very funny man. But having seen Coogan on Question Time a while ago, I just can't warm to the man - despite the brilliance of Partridge.

Lovely to swan around Europe simply chatting, I kept thinking "due to the unique way the BBC is funded...." smile

Yes, the unique concept of a tv show made on location. More turnip with your hair shirt?

I'm not sure why I felt grumpy about them having a good time. But I did. smile

Haven't seen the first series, watched a few episodes of this one now. Half of me isn't sure quite what I'm watching and the other half thinks it's brilliant.

Only wish I was interesting enough to be filmed touring Italian dining tables.

I'm sure I'm in a minority, but I enjoy the show for the patter & one-upmanship between the two. The impersonations, for me, become a bit much at times.

As much as I like Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon It does seem at times like 'Rob and Steve do some voices' It comes across as a little self indulgent.
