Jesus.
Did you lot work this out yourself?

Tad surprised that s 'hands-on' guy like Hanzee dictates a kill. But then he's older/higher up.

Is the Syndicate the Kansas City outfit?

These guys defiantly like to shake things up a bit. Again I think they are messing with the internet, when we first saw Hanzee there was internet chat about Hanzee vs Marlo who's the baddest? will they ever meet etc etc. We get to the end of this season and bang they've met before, Malvo killed him internet discussion shut down. Didnt see that coming. I must admit I was wondering if Hanzee was going to become Malvo esp all that stuff about the haircut and Malvo's hair being quite unique . I honestly think the flying saucer and Hanzee turning into a white man where both thrown in so they could watch fans fall out and try and defend it. Its interesting that the plot works just as well if you take those plotlines out

Mike Milligan's end reminded me of Vic in "The Shield" expected a big blaze of glory but no they get a fitting punishment.

Mike Milligan's fate struck me as typically corporate, the bullstter gets a lucky stroke, survives and gets promoted.

He's the King, he won, he believes he beat the Gerhardts where others failed, he took out the mobs top hitman. So he gets rewarded with a small box room office, told he'll make it big if he makes savings on postage costs and is told to take up golf. The 70s are over man, the 70s are over. It's all red braces and blue sky thinking from now on.

Get your hair cut.

Summed up my favorite part of the finale! Criminality wears a suit and crunches numbers, now lose the cowboy look biggrin

Not surprising, it was pretty much a direct rip-off homage to that scene.

Jesus a good spot on these links.
I have to say I felt like turning it off after the first few episodes but towards the end it had became a joy to watch.

A real gem.

I don't think it was really.

Vic Mackie's position was a clear punishment, whereas Millgan's is a reward...

Aside from being a 'man of action' consigned to a future of management, there didn't seem much similarity to me...

Think im going to give it all another run some time in the new year. Such a good series. I can only wonder how season 3 will live up to it.

I saw it suggested elsewhere that the Mr Tripoli from season 1 was the fellow that Hanzee was talking to in the park who handed over the fake id, rather than Hanzee becoming Mr Tripoli.

Hanzee and Tripoli are the same person. Look for him to make a comeback in series 3 if it's set between the first 2 series.

Series 3 is said to be a few years after series 1, Lorne Malvo saw off Moses Tripoli in series 1

Having watched season 1 then season 2, I just binge watched 1 again.

WELL worth a second viewing... much funnier second time round.

And of the two, I'm back to liking 1 most.

Loved it....

Really liked the juxtaposition of "War Pigs" and Bobby Womack's version of "California Dreaming" too.

About the best think on Tellybox for a long while!!

Great series, both, in different ways. Reminded me of better call Saul, can't say why tho.

For info, season 2 has just become available on Netflix.

So that makes the original film with Frances McDormand, and seasons 1&2 of the TV series now all in one place.

It's interesting to watch the film, and see how many moments are picked up in the TV series in similar but different ways. Will be interesting to spot the connections in season 3 next year.
