I'm up to episode 7 so a bit ahead of the UK screenings.

Well the UK is on ep 1, so please keep any other notices to yourself.

Each season is set within it it's own time with very little overlap (just small nods) so you should be fine.

This season has been great but also quite hard to watch at times as well, probably the best thing on tv atm.

I haven't watched this since season one and maybe the first two eps of season 2. Did season 1 ever get topped as martin freeman and thornton where bloody epic.

I thought S2 trumped S1, wasn't keen on Freeman, he basically does the same thing.

Not who I thought it was, I thought it was the one from Marvels Agents of Shield. Easy to see why I guess.

Most recent thing I can think of I watched her in was as the lead in Braindead.

And yes there are two or three actresses she is easy to get confused with.

Certainly looked like it. Odd episode but I loved the hand in the box.

Hmm confused here, but theres a link.

The hand in the box does nothing but switches itself off when switched on. It is an example of a 'useless machine'
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Useless_machine

It was invented by Marvin Minsky (time travelling android was called Minsky) who was a big name in Artificial Intelligence at MIT
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvin_Minsky

I'm sure all will become clear in the next few episodes (or not)

Nod to the aliens in season 2. Again really incredible odds coincidences, like she stays in the same motel room he did, or did I get that wrong, no refurbishment do it still has the same wc bowl so she figures out where his assumed name arose.

Anyway a slowish burner compared to previous seasons.

Oh yes, got confused for one minute, how can it be a balmy 25 degrees when they're about to land at Minneapolis and frozen solid back at base, then realised 25 degrees Fahrenheit. DOH!

Really enjoyed that, especially the robot.
Much better ep without Ewan.

I looked on the Google to find out who the actress playing the actress in the '70s flashbacks was and discovered that not only was she Clint Eastwood's daughter, the older (modern day) version of the character was played by her real life mother.
