I so want to like this but the presenters aren't making it easy for me.
Same, don't mind the mechanic guy but it would really be nice to have someone who actually likes cars as the main presenter. Never thought I'd say this but I very much wish Ed and Mike were doing this show because at least they are interested and often excited about the cars they are doing.

Seen a couple of our club members on it so far. Hope its a decent restoration, and I really must start on my series one, which is scattered round the garden at the moment!

He was an arse as SIARPC on Top Gear. This just confirms it I guess?

Car programmes are car programmes and even if you don't particularly like a programme (Classic Car Resto), you'll still watch it because it's about your passion...cars.

This one is interesting; Glenister has said he is no car enthusiast so find it interesting their marketing him as a car fanatic. In a way it's clever because he stops it from getting too technical and more for the everyday nostalgic person behind the screen. The Ant bloke would have us sat listening to him talk about inlet manifolds for 10mins if he could and who wants that on their Sunday night! Having said that, I would like a bit more on the actual car rather than stories and history and elderly gentlemen from "owners clubs" saying how fab they are - no surprise there.

I've only ever driven one Land Rover. I know it was a '75 car and petrol, but that's about it. I like the idea of having one for plodding about in Cornwall though. I had a Lada Niva and that was great, so I imagine these are a step ahead?

A wonderful motor it had history you cannot by or add and what have they done? Sent it to the paint shop to lose that all. Absolutely tragic. All it probably need was some the spots of welding, fresh fuel and some attention to the brakes.

WTF was he waffling on about?

It took 40+ years to look the way it did. Why wipe that history away?

Any idea what it went for?
