So with the car that rusty is it fair to say they have paid 8k for the VIN plates and a V5?
Yup, that's what you're paying for.

And that's not that rusty. One of my RS2000's was worse than that 30 years ago laugh

Wish I had seen this a month ago, as I turned down a Mclaren c12 job because I don't have jig for chassis, turns out all I needed to do was make sure panel gaps were correct! laugh

Which of the performance Mk1's are the most expensive nowadays? Is it down to rarity or motorsport successes?

It's actually a very nicely made programme. Well shot, good soundtrack, and will probably rate well as C4 cunningly schedule it to tap into the audience who are missing TG on BBC2

RS1600 and Twin Cam are the most valuable and expensive, followed by the Mex/RS2000.

RS1600's and the Lotus Twin Cam, both around the 50k mark in general!

I've not seen the senior members of the Harris clan since the heady days of the cruise scene back in the late 70's early 80's when they used to terrorise London in their V8 powered Zephyr's and Zody's biggrin
