I thought it may be topical to revive my DVD of that classic Brit crime film. I've not seen it for a couple of years so it may be an appropriate day to watch it.

Great film, possibly still one of my favourites though it's a good 10 years since I last watched it. One of the best endings too. smile

Yes, I can still quote lines from it after all these years. I think the old VHS copy may be a bit knackered now.smile

The film is fantastic and easily one of the best British films ever made.
The documentary on the film shown a few years ago is well worth a watch.

I've got the same 3 disc set - got it from HMV some time ago when they were having a sale. It is the 25th anniversary edition, so out in 2006.

The best British gangster film of all time.

"I'm glad I found out in time just what a partnership with a pair of wkers like you would've been. A sleeping partner's one thing, but you're in a fking coma! No wonder you got an energy crisis your side of the water! What I'm looking for is someone who can contribute to what England has given to the world - culture, sophistication, genius. A little bit more than an 'ot dog, know what I mean?"
