Did the presenters actually do anything other than wield an angle grinder and go on pointless trundle round a trading estate in 458? I would liked to have seen more detail of the actual bodywork/painting, especially how the dismembered rear part was matched up to roof, which I would imagine had totally different cross section. I know it is often said on here that those sort of things don't appeal to a mass audience, but the show is called Ultimate Cars and is on channel that most people have never heard of, so you would think the people watching it are enthusiasts and have actively sought it out, it's not as though it's Top Gear or is competing for ratings with Coronation Street. Rant over.

It was a load of old bks really.
They reckon they spent 10 grand in total.Must have cost £5k for the bodywork because like you say they farmed it out to a bodyshop.
The ICE was about £3k wasn't it ?

Only slightly more watchable than that classic car rescue thing

Watched the mustang episode last night. Good god the paint job on it was rubbish camera close ups the arches were a mess. Where they put the hulkstang logo holes were left from the mustang badge.

To top it off the finish of the paint was rough.

Do they not paint a test sample before spraying a whole car in the wrong shade (or was that BS and was the base layer for a matte finish?)

It looked st at the end, HULKstang vomit

Even the owner couldn't face driving it and gave it to his rather underwhelmed son
