Timothy Dalton is clearly in league with the devil, the man is 70!
70? st he must be worshipping an Egyptian God! He is in fine fettle, save for the little paunch, which I thought was false, but if he's 70 I'll allow it! Adam B said:
Liked the ending
Sorry as I went to make a cup of tea and couldn't be arsed to rewind, was Dalton's daughter possessing Eva Green and confirming she was dead/a vampire?
I believe so. Not wholly sure if it was one or two possessions. Amenhotep was mentioned?Sorry as I went to make a cup of tea and couldn't be arsed to rewind, was Dalton's daughter possessing Eva Green and confirming she was dead/a vampire?
After the séance (which had us both heading for the back of the sofa), we settled down for the last 5 minutes; expecting some gentle interplay between Frankenstein and his creation - the latter being a character we were looking forward to seeing develop as he slowly rediscovered his humanity.

Got to admit at times I couldn't understand a word Billie Piper was saying. I think she was attempting a Northern Irish accent.
I'm quite enjoying the series so far though
She must have had training from the Sons of Anarchy Irish episodes I'm quite enjoying the series so far though
Must admit, I couldn't understand a word she said either
bille piper should not be allowed to do accents. ever.
her butchering of an irish accent is a criminal offence.
the seance scene certainly caught me by suprise. a full on 5 mins of open mouthed suprise - made me realise that the whole series will be very adult orientated, which is a good thing!
genuinley sad with what happened to Mr P - i have a feeling that "no 1" is going to be a bit of a handful for Frankenstein.

Yep, just as I was getting used to Mr Proteus (monster MKII as it turns out) and appreciating a slant on the usual Frankenstein/ Monster tale where we see the monster developing into a reasoned, gentle, normal human-like character; out of the woodwork (literally in this case) appears the first evil Frankenstien monster (Mark I) to cause mayhem. Excellent!
