How much do you get for second hand made to measure windows! £0? Wouldn't be worth the effort of nicking them.

I see fake leopard skin clothes have made a comeback in the rovers - on the gay wimpy bloke, a homage to Bet Lynch?
To a certain extent, you have a point, but modern buildings are usually designed for a set of certain window sizes, like 1200 X 1600, and no doubt Jason got the plans drawn up to reflect this. \a bit like kitchen appliances mostly being 600mm. The panes looked like 1600 X 600 which would be a fairly standard fit for conservatory (sorry, orangery) non-opening panels.

PS Soap Police not as dumb as we think - they turned up at Callum's funeral to see who else turned up.
Normal police practice in a murder case like this.cop

I suspect they took special interest in Billy and Sarah.

Re the "Summerhouse":-

"The leaning tower of Weatherfield"......lol!

More like The house that Jack built.

Yes but they cost SFA with a traders' account, secondhand...... it just wouldn't be worth the diesel.

As has been the case with every funeral in the history of the Street they got it wrong. Why ? Because lots of people go to funerals- and the younger the ...ermm... interree is , the more people go . Having been to far too many funerals these last few years I'd say the average attendance is 100 and the last one I went to had three times that.

Budget reasons I guess? But I'm sure plenty of people would volunteer for a role on Street for a cup of tea and a biscuit .Or a chance of seeing Eva in the , ahem , flesh ?

You make a good point (and not just about Eva). Most funerals have complete strangers turn up just for a nosey. They're usually little old ladies who live near the church and wander over just because they've got nothing else to do.

Mind you, I doubt if anyone would turn up if they owed Callum drug money.

Regarding Gemma, she's actually quite a nice kid deep down, just got in with the wrong crowd like a lot of teenagers....

Pity the rumours about Bruce Jones (Les Battersby) returning are not true, he would shake things up a bit.

He was spotted with the cast during the recent Blackpool filming scenes, but apparently had just gone along for a catch up with some old cast members.

A bit cynical I think - where I grew up in the West Riding (and where I live now in the sticks ) older people are showing respect to somebody they may have only known slightly , if at all. It's sort of what decent communities do. Sorry to be pofaced but having experienced this first hand it's actually quite humbling .

Roy Cropper is going to end up more loopy than Sarah Lou Platt.....the strange case of the moving Morris Traveller Woody...which way round did he park it?...Spooky!

Good for "big" Beth, she showed that stuck up ex schoolmate what for in the Bistro, but why was Kirky so worried? Has he just found out he going out with an ex junkie?

I rather liked Sally's line to her fellow councillors when she found Tim entertaining tthe menfolk of the Street with his homebrew - "Tim does work for the underprivileged".

He was a drug dealing, gun toting scum who never did anything good for anyone, why would someone want to turn up to celebrate his life? He caused nothing but misery for everyone, even his own kid saw the light and turned his back on him.
I think the fact that there was barely anyone at the funeral was done on purpose to reflect this.

Anyhow, anyone want to buy a Kim Marsh sex tape? £30k and it's yours......

All he got was a sniff. wink

I was reading about her 'tape' this morning, she's been about a bit hasn't she? Marriages, divorces, engagements, a few of each!

There've been some good "odd couples" over the years, both on telly and the silver screen. I reckon Nozzer and Kirky must be up there with the best. I actually feel quite sorry for Norris - he's very lonely on his own, you'd have to be to seek solace with Kirk.

Phelan pockets another £200 in cash from the bonkers Sarah. Will Jason ever find out?

Just seen a trailer before the Wales-N.Ireland match with Big Jim McDonald running across a cow field before mouthing breathlessly his support for Norn Iron. Nice to see he's out of clink biggrin.
