Good to see Peter Barlow's back! What mayhem is he going to bring with him?
I reckon he's hiding from someone - those injuries to his face weren't from shaving. Corrie has hit paydirt this week, lots going on and plenty of interconnected plotlines (Michelle/Leanne/Amy)- surely not long now before Michelle twigs.Wasn't expecting Ken's stroke or Peter's return. It wasn't telegraphed like so many soap stories. Great stuff and maybe we'll see fewer of the wooden actors. Not a spoiler as such, but Mary has a plotline this week which can't be bad.
btw:- "Fat" Brenda hasn't been mentioned recently, I wonder if she's left Streetcars...

(I don't think we'll ever see Mary's mother, more's the pity. This week Mary does a favour for another resident in the street - she really does have a heart of gold. In truth she would probably make a really good partner for someone, if they could understand her batty ways!)
The Tracey Titanic line reminds me of the most damning piece written by a theatre critic about an opening night, in the history of print.
Pia Zadora played Anne Frank (believe it or not). She was apparently dreadful. One critic wrote:
Pia Zadora was so bad in the title roll, that when the Nazis burst in at the beginning of act 2, half the audience shouted out "she's in the attic!"

(I took my 12-year old daughter to see Titanic when it was released, and could hardly keep a straight face during the performance. She had to keep nudging me to shut up with my sarcastic comments - the CGI was the only decent thing about it.)

I just switched on ITV to watch Corrie, and Charlie Stubbs was at it again - some sort of altercation with a woman in a kitchen, resulting in falls and crushing of skulls. Emmerdale this time. He can't stop.
Mrs F was perched on the end of the chair watching this, what bks.... Freds said:

Anyone notice how many plug sockets were on the wall behind Ken's hospital bed?
Enough to plug in all of Pink Floyds amplifiers and speakers.....
But not the light show?Enough to plug in all of Pink Floyds amplifiers and speakers.....
Have a look in the next episode.
I think the props department must have cleared MK out.

Quite the worst scripted episode I have ever seen. Risible - plot line worse than a ten year old could come up with , awful dialogue and no credit to anybody involved . I pity the cast though , having to act out this load of old tut.
'King tut.Was dire.
