Even that.

Have a look in the next episode.

I think the props department must have cleared MK out.
Having lived there for a few years I wholeheartedly agree that it's about time somebody did!!
Off topic:-

I was there a few months ago visiting Bletchley Park. Very interesting

Regarding Milton Keynes, never seen as many roundabouts in my life.

(Looking forward to tonight's two dramatic episodes.)

Sad ain't it....biggrin

laugh That was like something from Miami Vice. Astra barrel-rolls at all of 25mph. Kev's smouldering oily rag was a red herring - or was it?

Surprisingly not, the factory was 5 miles down the A14 (I think) and it was huge, I was there when the buttons went from square edge to round edge and we introduced "edge" the premium sockets.
Then I went to make you the radiator TRV you probably have in your house - Drayton

Anna's trousers on fire. Brilliant.

They must have had some budget left with the end of year looming!

Anna - "Tonight, Matthew, I'm going to be The Wicker Man".

(I noticed that Caz was amongst those lifting the car. No doubt fuel for her staying on a few more weeks.)

PS. How come Lily is bigger than Ruby and talking already, when shirley Ruby was born earlier? Continuity sacking I reckon.

Not one went round the other side of the pickup to try and get the kid.

Surrounded by businesses and no one goes to get a fire extinguisher. Or aren't they a legal requirement in Corrieland?

I just switched on ITV to watch Corrie, and Charlie Stubbs was at it again - some sort of altercation with a woman in a kitchen, resulting in falls and crushing of skulls. Emmerdale this time. He can't stop.
Mrs F was perched on the end of the chair watching this, what bks.... laugh
Emmerdale has been great the last few episodes!

Charlie died for a second time. He's like the walking dead.

I've been reliably advised that Anna's clothes came from Primark, so no doubt they contained many unnatural fibres. Robert is taking a great interest in Michelle's welfare - what's that all about? New plotline?

I was really hoping she would die in the explosion. Very disappointing.

A typical soap spectacular. They're all like that and I'm used to it now. Personally I don't know why the writers feel they have to have one of these events every so often. All the regular viewers are going to watch anyway, and I really can't believe it's going to attract new watchers even if it's "fed" to the media in advance.

Tosh indeed, but funny with it.

Just when I thought it couldn't get more dire it plunges to new depths. They - literally- have lost the plot.

I loved the bit when the sparks set the petrol alight. Lots of time for people to spot it and run away. No instant explosion of petrol with a spark in soap land. Perhaps Anna will stop screeching all the time now she is suffering from her burns. Shame it wasn't Caz. We could have witnessed some great "Oh....no...I....have....been....burnt" acting from her.

But you still continue to watch it though...smile

Admit it, it's like a drug.

(Well, slight exaggeration but you know what I mean).

If I was the scriptwriter I would:-

For starters:-

Get rid of Caz.

Drop/tone down all the gay/lesbian stuff....tedious.

Inject a bit more comedy using Tim/Mary/Norris

Any forum regulars have any other suggestions?

Remember we are going to have one extra episode a week starting next year, so the writers will have to come up with plenty of fresh ideas....

Other soaps have had "after the watershed" episodes - I wouldn't mind seeing one of those for Corrie involving Eva wink.

I agree with you about the gay/lesbian quota. The number in the Street is out of all proportion to real life, well in my neck of the woods anyway. I'd like to see more "real life" situations we can all relate to. I can't understand this obssession with murder and mayhem, dramatic events and plot lines that are simply absurd. It's the same with all soaps. In the real world we all "get by" and spend an inordinate amount of time worrying about money - Tyrone's debt storyline has all gone away and everybody can afford to buy pints every day in the Rovers, and go away at the drop of a hat for a holiday.

Let's see some real life....
