Yes, I think Tim finds her very attractive, hence his awkwardness as he loves Sally and knows it's plain wrong. But I don't think he will be able to resist her charms as the weeks progress. Interesting times ahead.We now know that they were "real" police - I hardly think Nathan's influence stretches as far as the local radio station. However - is Bethany really that thick? Why would the plod arrest someone unless they had a track record of that sort of thing? Clearly that Mel is under the thumb in some way, maybe he has information on her that would be of assistance to the local fuzz.

Or he could quite simply be paying her to participate. - appears,from the characters facial expressions that she regrets it or is reluctant, but wants the money more? Certainly looks like Bethany is going to be pimped out!
It's good that Corrie tackles social issues, but I have a feeling that they've chickened out a bit. As far as I know, the majority of recorded cases of this type concern 12-14 year-olds with family/home issues, often from care homes. I don't think Bethany really fits the norm, but maybe I'm being pedantic.
