He's not actually done anything (legally) wrong YET I don't think. Presumably Bethany is over the age of consent by now.
I thought she was supposed to be 15?

ETA. Just checked, she was born on 4 June 2000, so she is of legal age!

I may well be wrong, but isn't a young woman of 16 still considered a child in respect of sex offences?

Loved the birth in the lift - the doors are finally opened, and the paramedics hang back while Nick gawps as the proud father, Eva cries with joy etc.. I know childbirth is a lot safer these days than in 1417, but I fail to believe that the medics wouldn't have rushed straight in. That floor must have had more germs than Chernobyl. No sign of the umbilical cord being cut. Soap birth.....

16 is the legal age of consent, 18 if you're in a position of authority (teacher, for example). The irony being Bethany's mother hardly has room to criticise, she was pregnant at what, 14?

I don't know the first thing about drugs, but surely Adam's stash in that small tin can't be worth £40k....can it?
I believe a kilo of coke can be bought from high end dealers for circa £22k, it sells on the street for £40+ a gram, in some cities it will be £60+, therefore £40k isn't unrealistic.

(I had some dodgy friends and have an odd fascination with organised crime)

How did they get the power back on after Darryl the rat chewed through the cable?

RIP Darryl btw.....cry

Surely any decent lift would have an auxiliary emergency power supply, but I suppose this was a "Corrie" lift.

They should have sent for Jack Nicholson, he would have had the doors open pronto....

They should have told David Platt that Lily was in there alone and crying. Nutter Platt would have ripped the doors open with his bare hands. Got a bit of a temper, that lad.

Yes, RIP Darryl. Probably a better actor than some of the human cast.

Great showcase of my local beach at Aberffraw, Anglesey for the scattering of the ashes.

I was wondering where it was - Steve's always been a Formby man in the past, and although there were dunes visible, the rest of it was unfamiliar.

Yes, you could see the hills of the Lleyn Peninsula in the background. That beach is just a couple of miles south of Ty Croes racetrack. Simon Gregson is a regular here in Anglesey - I think he has a holiday home or caravan in Trearddur Bay.

Thanks for that. thumbup

I'm usually pretty good with coastlines but that had me stumped.

I did notice the hills in the background and suspected it would be North Wales somewhere, having just come back from holiday in Porthmadog and Caernarfon.

I couldn't really see the Corrie budget stretching to Devon or Scotland.

It must be very heart breaking to scatter a baby's ashes like that, I think I would opt to keep them on the mantelpiece personally, or is that weird?

I've told Mrs mwf that's where she's going, so I can talk to her anytime I want, but mine are going over the side of Ribblehead viaduct....biggrin

I know we're going a bit OT here, but funnily enough I was discussing the disposal of my ashes with my daughter the other day. There's nowhere in particular that would be apt, so I've decided to be made into a firework. I'd pick a date and time, and then everyone in the town who knows me would be able to watch from a distance, and could say cheerio, or swear or whatever. Sorted.

I wonder if you heard the tale about one of the builders who lost his hat over the edge.

That baby looked about 3 months old, considering you can't put a tack where a nail's been chimpy Nick's got his work cut out if they stay together for long enough.

The first time I saw that brand was in a hotel in Thessaloniki and it made me chuckle;

F**k me! I didn't expect Steve to be the one who'd blab first. Unless he starts the second episode tonight with some sort of excuse.

BTW Kym Marsh's tan looks like she's been creosoting a fence with her bare hands.
