I'll tell you this and I'll tell you no more, they must have let him out of the big house for the day....
.
I was so tempted (having been reading this thread) to say something similar in a very poor attempt at a Norn Iron accent... but I suspect it would have brought on a reaction of Victor Meldew in Father Ted proportions..

Michelle is becoming a real b*tch. Robert was clearly not impressed, and she may have blown her chances.
I'd forgotten why Maria and Toyah were not best friends. I had to look it up - I'd forgotten all about that tutor and the rape business. Soaps can be too complicated for simple minds like mine.
Yeah, I wondered what the hell they were on about. Thanks for the reminder. I'd forgotten why Maria and Toyah were not best friends. I had to look it up - I'd forgotten all about that tutor and the rape business. Soaps can be too complicated for simple minds like mine.
Or do you mean Jack?
Phelan was behaving very oddly in the flat. Is he really superstitious or does he know something we don't, like maybe Andy's dismembered body is blocking some pipes?
Ken is a bitter old sod. He's always commenting on his frustration at not fulfilling his potential, but exactly what was he expecting from life? He's been a teacher, and a newspaper editor. Has he got some sort of idea that he was the next Einstein? He seems to have an exaggerated opinion of himself and his abilities. Even if he'd gone to Oxford he would probably have ended up as a teacher or newspaper editor.

I reckon Andy's dismembered body is lying behind some plasterboard 10 Rillington Place style.Ken is a bitter old sod. Mind you, it will stink a bit by now...
(Unless the writers have introduced this storyline to lead viewers up the garden path)
Has Seb blown it with Faye when he gave poor Jackson that pasting? Probably not knowing that stupid girl
I am more sympathetic to Ken - he is the classic beneficiary of a state education post 1944 Act - or should have been. Unlike any of his family , he broke out of the working class straitjacket and got an education , white collar jobs and became culturally aware . But ...he blew the opportunity and is hugely frustrated and angry not to have realised his potential - and the Oxford (which college I wonder ? )dream could have been achieved vicariously through his grandson.
He was beastly to poor Sinead though

The very first episode in 1960... Ken was accused of looking down on the working class....He was beastly to poor Sinead though

Ken strikes me as very much a precursor to New Labour. He's a socialist at heart, and encourages everyone to better themselves, but he'd rather have a good claret than a pint, rather listen to Chopin than Take That. I can't imagine him being a Corbynite, but he would have loved the Blair regime.

Another new one in the world of Corrie, instant abortions. Just walk in off the street and that's it.
When Daniel finds out Ken put Sinead up to the abortion (and he will) the st will hit the fan......I hope Tyrone lets slip to Ken that Amy got that violin out of a skip..the girl is a disgrace....
I think Todd should have strung this "ghost" thing out with Pat Phelan over a few episodes, it would have been quite funny watching him st himself.....
Will Toyah come round and accept Peter's explanation?

Are you having a stroke, should I call for an ambulance. I have no idea what you have posted means, is it some form of New Speak?So:-
If he had to choose between Toyah and rich nutter he would choose rich nutter.
Simples.

So is Tracey going to bump her dad off in order to get her legacy?
I don't think even she would stoop so low, Adam maybe. There seems to be a lot going on at the moment, normally on the street there seems to be a core of three or four storylines but at the moment there is a least double that.
I noticed Ken briefly mentioned his unfinished kitchen, has Phelan spent the money he gave him to buy materials?

Just caught up.I was half hoping that Todd would catch Pat 'confessing' about Michael and Andy through the webcam (from Pat confronting the 'ghosts').
