It's "Madd-eh", like Soph-eh and Ros-eh. In Kevinspeak, that is.
I think the character has developed well. She's supposed to be a young woman who's had a rough start in life, but now she is grateful for people who care about her, and give her life stability. The actress has done that well. She's a "heart of gold" type character. Sorry that I'm prone to think in stereotypes, but they really don't look like lesbians to me.
I'm getting a bit bored by the Steve depression story.
She does seem to be progressing nicely - I'm sure Corrie will fk that up by introducing her to a man or something. She was annoying but now she is a character you can genuinely like. Personally, I hope she stays as a foil to Norris as he is clearly in need of a slap I think the character has developed well. As for the depression story, that's dragging on almost as much as the "who killed Lucy*" storyline
* As it happens, I have stopped caring as it's taken so damned long to flush out
Ok so we all should guess / know Faye is up the duff but thinks she is just fat and Craig I guess is the dad - I find it hard to believe Craig hasn't said it may be when we did the horizontal tango the other day and you might be preggers I mean how innocent do the scripwriters think kids are these days

Is he? I assumed she'd "been" with a random lad from school as a sort of antidote to the bullying, trying to make herself feel more "normal". Craig doesn't seem that sort to me at all. I don't think he would take advantage of such a situation, he's a very sensitive kid.I await those episodes with baited breath, as I do the return of Kylie when the actress comes back from maternity leave. Will Jason dump the voluptuous Eva when he finds out she's plotting behind his back? He's a proud young man. As a tweeter once said of Rachel Riley - "I'd drag my naked b***s over a mile of broken glass to hear her f*rt through a walkie-talkie."
It's a pity - Les Dennis is still in Corrie. Ah well, can't have it all ways.
I actually felt sorry for Norris last night. Getting old is an unpleasant experience.
Do we or do we not, want to ever see Fat Brenda? It's rich coming from Eileen, who isn't exactly svelte. Presumably being called "fat" means she's like a mini-elephant. Personally I think it's best to leave her as a sort of myth.
Loved the scene where Roy informed Ty and Ches of the rules and regulations concerning disposal of ashes in water. He quoted verbatim, and had documentary evidence. So "Roy".

Not bad at all. Got the mannerisms spot on. Pity Michael was spelt incorrectly. And why did they need to have photos and names behind the impressionist, if he was THAT good?nicanary said:

Unless it's an "ironic" nickname, and she's like beanpole of course.james_tigerwoods said:

Maddie is leaving Corrie. More heartbreak for Sophie. I do wish I could stop reading this stuff in the press before it happens.
That is indeed a shame. Where did you read this>nicanary said:

Thankfully Steve seems to have made a miraculous recovery in tonight's episodes, not before time either.
Looks like Owen's troubles are going to start all over again.....

It's all coming home to roost for him now, maybe he'll have to leave also once his daughters get wind of his lies. In other news, pity Des Lennis came round after the op - bloody annoying character.Edited by PlayersNo6 on Monday 9th February 22:55

How does Izzy get up the stairs to Owen and Anna's flatt? There's no sign of any stairlift etc.
Well spotted. Maybe Owen has had a normal lift fitted (out of camera shot), or possibly more likely, the flat isn't really on the first floor but actually on the ground floor of Granada studios......Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
