The actor is leaving Corrie, so maybe the writers are building up his frustrations as an excuse for his future behaviour.

What sort of scumbag is Todd? He winds up his brother, his friends, his employer, but really - your own mum? "Silly old bat."

Meanwhile, has anyone else noticed Tony's propensity for heavy breathing when he feels amorous? It gives me the creeps. In the past, he had a reputation for being unreliable and a bit of a waster. So where has all this money come from? He's paid Steve's tax bill and now will foot the cost of the wedding. Is there a money tree in the yard at the Rovers?

He bought Owens yard as well remember, clearly minted! Possibly he has some money left from his playing days at Harchester United

It's not real flame though, it's one of those optical illusion jobbies.

Like the opening sequence from "Tales of the unexpected".

Isn't he just like Phil Mitchell, supposedly a bit of a dodgy geezer with a finger in every warehouse/lorry robbery and a bag of sand under every cushion/mattress and 150Gs in the safe, from all his 'activities'.

Essential Saturday night viewing in the early 80's...smile

Tracy Barlow excelled herself on Friday with her tirade of abuse at Faye and Gary when they were sitting on the bench outside Audrey's......That Tony wants to give her what for................come to think of it, he's doing that already.....biggrin

Poor Owen, but I guess he's brought it on himself, it's all Phelan's fault, the dirty rat.

Looks like there could be a bit of chemistry between Audrey & Ken and Carla and Nick...scratchchin

Dream Team was a must see 10 years ago - great talent and wildly imaginative story lines involving all sorts - I think Billy The Fish was modelled on dream team

The "family dinner" for the Platts was hilarious. In a street full of dysfunctional families, they surely take the biscuit. It was almost as if nobody wanted to be there, apart from Michael, who must be the dimmest man in the world not to know that something is afoot.

I was hoping that Sarah-Lou would be going back to Italy, but alas we will have to endure her acting for a bit longer. Is David going to be an uncle again, to a drug-dealer's child?

I thought the scriptwriter's "resume" of the French art film was brilliant - that's exactly how pretentious these art critics can be. And Ken reacted just as expected. He has always been torn between his socialist ideals, and his bourgeois fantasies.

Very appropriate after Sarah-Lou's behaviour with Calum.

I worked as a consultant on Dream Team (on an ad hoc basis, not full time), although to my shame, I never had Sky at the time so never saw the finished programme.

Must watch it someday.
