Christ nic. That's not one you see every day. I thought it was a spelling mistake.
It was the "word for the day" in an old copy of The Peoples' Friend..............laugh

French in derivation - pronounced ahn-soo-si-awnce.

Today's word is........Osmosis. Osmosis.

(You'll have to wait for my verdict on Friday's episodes - I can't watch the recording until my daughter rouses herself from her pit. Too noisy.)

"Time to go home,
Time to go home,
Andy and Stephie say time to go home.

Time to go home,
Time to go home,
Andy is waving goodbye, goodbye, goodbye.........."

Have you noticed that all soap weddings and funerals have mysterious extra guests who are never explained, and seem to have no family or work connections to the main participants? And was the S-class the luxury hire car from Streetcars? I thought it used to be an E-class.

As I said a few pages ago, that Jenny has a secret to hide. Sans doubte. I wonder if she had a child die through neglect, or summat. She appears to be overdoing her affection for Jack.

What's the faux-Banksy street art all about? Curious addition to the story-lines, IMO. Is is going to lead to a new plot, or is it just some random Corrie humour?

This.

Jenny definitely has some dark secret she is hiding, and has plenty of baggage.

No doubt it will all come out in the wash in the coming episodes..

Good to see Maddie back btw.

You mean Madd- eh ?

Far too much plot at the moment- the whole Gail/ Michael rubbish, Sara Lou, David, Steve 's money problems , Tracey and the evil Tony etc. More characterisation less plot needed.

And where is Fizz supposed to have gone ?

And now Audrey can't make it to her own daughter's wedding (albeit I'm sure she's running out of things to wear for this umpteenth nuptial). This seems a serious aberration by the scriptwriters - sick relatives is one thing, but not bothering with your only daughter's wedding seems a bit unlikely, bad cold or not.

(Today's word is misanthropy. Misanthropy.......)

Agreed - two excellent episodes. Jenny seems to have anger management problems, and over-compensates with her care of Jack. Has she been a bad girl with kids in the past? Why doesn't one of her doubters give the archives at the Wetherfield Gazette a good checking, or the local paper in any town from her past? The plot gets murkier.

Roy -"I never given anyone a buttering-up". So he's clearly not a devotee of Marlon Brando films..........whistle

I've debated this too - I reckon she's offed a child accidentally or something....
