I have a question.

How was Mary powering the motorhome? She never drives it anywhere so the battery is deader than a dodo

Motorhomes run off a long lasting heavy duty "Leisure" Battery that powers all the 12v electric lighting, cooking is taken care of with bottled gas (stored onboard), and a quick spin around the block every couple of days should put a bit of juice in the battery....

(She doesn't really live in a motorhome you know...smile

Solar panel on the roof charging the leisure battery and vehicle battery, doesn't even need to drive round the block.

Common practice on the housing estates in my town in Northern Ireland. Used by the paramilitaries to illuminate their murals, and clearly no NIE operative is going to risk his kneecaps by disconnecting them.

Yes, but you need sun to power a solar panel, and it is Manchester we are talking about.....smile

When Mary and Julie were vainly running after the truck taking away the motorhome, Julie crossed her arms over her bosom in a saltire shape. Is she a closet supporter of the SNP, or are her boobies bigger than I thought? I've never seen a woman run like that before.....

A bit of negative comment in the tabloids today about the show going downhill. Won't stop the diehard Corrie fans from watching it. I thought last night's two episodes were fine.

The intrigue over the sale of the Rovers is getting intense. Can't wait for the denouement (today's word for the day). Best bit was Julie's comments about Mary - she talks in her sleep, dark, dark things, in a deep, growling voice. For those who watch other things, she's Corrie's Bernadette Wolowitz (The Big Bang Theory). All sweetness and light, but with a really malicious dark side just under the surface. I reckon if she took up fencing, she'd end up doing damage to someone.

How far is Todd going to take this "Geoff in Dubai" thing? For as sure as eggs is eggs, it's him who's made up this fictitious man. Sorry if I've spoiled things for anyone, but that's plain for all to see. How the hell can you treat your own mum that way?

(BTW blow football could be a problem for excited little boys at Xmas who'd eaten too much confectionery and drunk too much fizzy stuff. Air wasn't the only thing to come up from the larynx.)

I thought we'd seen evidence to that effect - I reckon he'll get her to buy a one way ticket there ultimately (somehow).

And I want to see him get a much deserved slap - It's all a revenge plot because of the kicking he got when he got mugged. He "did" Jason over Eva which was all engineered.

Did Todd also call the council on Mary too?

Had to laugh at nice but dim Tim showing off a 50 quid note to Roy, who told him it was dodgy as the current notes have Matthew Boulton's head on the note, Tim looks non plussed and answers Micheal Boltons head on a Fifty well fancy that.
