Have we heard anything of the Square Dealers lately? Seem to remember Fred Elliot being a particularly keen member, but I'm sure other cast members were also members?

John Savident used to be a policeman in Manchester in his early years, and was involved in a controversial court case in later life...

Of the present cast, I think only Dev would have been in it (although I may be confusing the Squaredealers with the Weatherfield Small Traders Association, of which he is an active member). Maybe Norris is/was a member?

Lloyd's unfortunate sea trip was telegraphed to viewers the moment we all saw the Norwegian flag. So who's going to be best man now?

Dev's shop is a bit random. Lots of groceries for Asian families who are conspicuous by their absence in the Street. I saw a bag of shakkar and had to look it up - it's sugar.

Now we know why Tony's plans are kyboshed - good old Carla, who's totally oblivious to what's been going on. She clearly doesn't watch every episode laugh.

Not sure if it was my ears, but I could have sworn Tyrone said re. milking the goat, "HE enjoyed more than me", what? He tossed off a billy goat! I don't think I've been so offended since they gave a Greyhound a hand-shandy to sabotage him for the race, or did I imagine that too!

A bit of a strong response, it was clichéd, but not that bad. I was too busy smirking after Sean's comment about him just having a facial....

This whole Tracey thing is a bit pantomime dame. She's hardy a 'properly scary psycho wotsit', more a slightly mad bunny boiler likely to carve the word die into the bonnet of her boyfriends Astra van with a stanley knife.

I wouldn't get on the wrong side of her, I don't know who's the biggest psycho, her or David...(although he seems to have settled down a bit recently)

Notice Steve's hairline in the next episode, and then look again in three months time....he was nearly bald four years ago, and then hey presto! a full head of hair...must be the Rovers beer.....scratchchin

btw, when is "Fat Brenda" going to make an appearance?

I don't think she should. The myth should never be replaced by fact.
