Ugggggggghhhh! Too much mutton. Nick has knocked up that woman who must be at least 60, and now we get gratuitous cleavage shots down granny Liz's top. Not nice.

Andrea's karaoke turn was the "humour highlight" from the last episodes. That's going to be a mega hangover for the wedding day.

Am I right in thinking that Tony still owns half of the Rovers? Travis PLC bought out Steve's half IIRC, so he still has some clout in what happens to the pub.

Travis PLC was a front for Tony to buy Steve's half...

Tracy about Sinead - "Hopalong Cassidy". Now there's a name from my past, along with "Riders of the Range" and of course "William Tell the Ranger".

Sean asked Steve if he'd like a Fisherman's Friend, and if you don't know that old joke, it can't be repeated on a family forum. But I dare say Sean's done it at some time in his past........

Is it just me, but I felt really sorry for Liz last night, when she was trying to put on a brave face in front of Steve...cry

She really doesn't have much luck with blokes, so she doesn't.

Never mind, Jim should be coming out of the big house soon.......

So he will.........

Liz reminds me of so many women "of a certain age" who still try to cling on to the memory of being young and attractive. Always hoping that a knight will come along and sweep her off her feet - I reckon Tony was her last chance. Is Jim scheduled to revisit the cobbles?

Cracking storylines this week. Can't wait.

Yes, good twist with Amy being in the flat...ironic she didn't actually intend to burn the flat down, as she actually did a runner when she saw Rob Donovan's photo.

Well, look on the bright side, at least Carla won't have to advertise for a new knicker machinist.

What's gay about smashing your way in through the back door with a heavily engorged hose in your hand?

You've got homoerotica on the brain you have.

Gay guy looses his keys, so props a ladder up the house to climb up to the upstairs open window, half way up he turns to,his pal and says "Ohh I feel like a fireman"

Pal says "God knows where I'll find one this time of night"

I hadn't heard that track for 20 years, and then within a couple of weeks it's appeared on Corrie and Peter Kay's Car Share.

Great song.

My recording "failed" so I reset the box for today on UTV2 and that failed as well. Thanks Rupert! I've just had to watch it on ITV Player.

Q1 - why did plaster dust fall down because of a fire?
Q2 - why did Carla sleep on the sofa when she has a 2-bed apartment?
Q3 - there appears to be about a dozen flats in the building - why was nobody else at home?

Did anyone else think Jenny looked like a tranny in that wig?
