Julie, whilst buying the cakes, and Brian appears behind her ".......and an ICED FINGER!"
Nick is a strange one . He was given a "get out of jail" card by Erica, and could have had an easy shot at the luscious Carla. Odd decision by him.
I see in today's tabloid that Craig Charles has made himself available for a return to the Street, after his Red Dwarf filming. I hope the producers agree - he's a good cast member.

really they have tried all ways to make him interesting and failed (IMHO), yup would have left Erica for Carla no botherNick is a strange one . He was given a "get out of jail" card by Erica, and could have had an easy shot at the luscious Carla. Odd decision by him.

I think this may be the calm before the storm as there are two big storylines coming up, first with Leanne, Simon and shady ex punter off The Bill, and second the death of Deidre.
I thought it was being handled very well last night, can't have been easy for the actors to do as friends and colleagues.

I saw of glimpse of the acting talents of Bill Roache when he wrote Deirdre's birthday card and sat back in his chair with that faint smile on his face. His acting has been a case of "going through the motions" for some years now - a far cry from the young Ken Barlow as the left-wing firebrand journalist out to change the world. I hope the cast and writers do her death justice - Corrie can be very, very good at this , or cringeingly bad.I thought it was being handled very well last night, can't have been easy for the actors to do as friends and colleagues.

Like when Jack Duckworth passed on and was welcomed into the afterlife by Vera.Perhaps we'll see the ghost of Samir or Blanche
Maybe they'll have all Deirdre's past partners lined up as a guard of honour, all giving a knowing wink as she passes "I've had that". Sorry, bad taste......

I thought that when Liz & Ken were in The Rovers arguing about the cake.I thought it was being handled very well last night, can't have been easy for the actors to do as friends and colleagues.
I thought it was terrific - the Ken in the alley thing was exactly how my father behaved when my mum died. Had never shown public emotion before and couldn't stop doing so afterwards. The glasses touch ? That was my mother in law with her late husband's specs which took pride of place on the mantelpiece for years.
Sara Louise really needs a good smack - and not in a pervy way either .And young Simon is doing a very good performance as a mixed up pubesecent boy from a broken home .
Tracey in tears - I don't think she had to act that one
