Max calls his T-Rex dinosaur "Trevor". Droll.

And Aidan - aka Shayne Ward - yet another wooden actor. Let's hope he's not here for long.
Yes, "Aiden's a real woodentop isn't he?

Where do they dig them up from?

Presumably it's to attract new viewers from the X-Factor type fanbase. I'd rather keep Corrie like Brooklands - "the right crowd and no crowding". It's our little secret....oops that sounds even more Operation Yewtree !

The 'M444KY J' Impreza isn't a prop car. Its owned by a guy called Mark and they 'hire' it from him. Take a look on the Impreza forums, its not hard to find.

Its a Type-R for those interested too.

Just to tidy things up, these are the 2 Scoobys that Callum uses. Different registration plates. Possibly it was cheaper for the production team to buy 2 old banger Scoobys than rent something for the actor to drive. No need to have a valid plate if it's on private ground.

Sorry but they're hardly bangers! The first one I know has a 6-speed conversion and all in all quite a serious performance car. Type Rs are rare and becoming more sought after - far from the bottom end of the Impreza market!

No offence intended. I've never really warmed to Imprezas/Evos and the like. They looked a bit scabby when new, and they don't improve with age - just my opinion. All a bit of a "Halfords parts-bin" in my eyes, although I acknowledge their abilities over a demanding country road.

(I'm digging myself deeper, aren't I........?)

Image may be naff but even - or especially- Callum's sound terrific . Unlike any Evo which always just seem to make an industrial white noise . I was watching a gazillion bhp Impreza at Croft in Time Attack last week and - my word it was quick !

All credit to the 2 makers for the invention and development of high-tech wizardry, but I do wish they'd applied it to a pretty coupe rather than an over-the-top version of their road/rally car.

Sorry for being a curmudgeon. Sorry to Wacky for hijacking his topic. I'll get me coat......

(Just watching the second of Monday's episodes, and Erica says she gave an ex-boyfriend a roasting - how many of her mates were there?)

Liz - "Rover.....return....now!" biggrin.

I think this was the first episode in which we've seen much of Lily. She's a sullen little whatsit. Look love. if you can't act, why did you want to be on Corrie? It's not as if your parents put you up to it.

Some classic Corry humour tonight I think! Art class, but the Liz, Lloyd, Steve thing with Dev's sarcastic comments in the background made me lol laugh

Steve's face when he rang Lloyd and the Hawaii 5-0 theme emerged from the stairs. Brilliant.

It'll be a shame when Craig Charles leaves, he plays his part well and comes across as a likeable bloke in all that he does (Red Dwarf, as DJ on the radio etc).

Agreed. The storylines in Corrie about his love of Northern Soul are not just fiction, but reflect the actor's personality.

Completely agree (listening to his Radio 2 show as we speak, in fact). Anyone know why he's leaving?

Something to do with Red Dwarf work, I think.

Dev's banter was first-class. But the peach for me was Mary's "Grim Reaper offering a bunch of nettles". She's got a really dark mind, that one.

Yes, she scares the st out of me, would have been great as lead in the film "Misery"...yikes

She really is an excellent actress.

Good to see Callum get his come uppance at the hands of Tony, pity Liz stopped him........biggrin

Aiden Connor is growing on me a bit as he slips into the role...was that a LHD "F" type he was getting into?

I was wondering about that (but only mildly.....) - it had twin headrests, maybe they're an option. And why LHD?

I'm a fan also. Doesn't Lloyd = Craig Charles anyway though? Is he acting? Keep the faith.

I think they put a bit of his personality into it. He is apparently doing a bit more red dwarf, not sure if he is keeping up his Radio 6 show though.
