ITV chiefs are pinning their hopes on new Corrie boss Kate Oates reviving the fortunes of the soap and wooing back millions of lost viewers.

Looks like she's being doing a fair bit of wooing, judging by the carpet burns

Or maybe She's just good at her job. Please, can we keep the misogyny to the other parts of PH.

As said - it's 2015. As most of us are older than twelve can we grow up a bit ? I believe a woman can now combine the burden of having breasts and legs with a career ..Who knew eh?

It's odd that you interpreted that comment as she must have slept her way to the top.

All I saw was a comment making light of the friction burns on her knees.

Would a man taking over a high profile professional position pose like that? its ridiculous and smacks of double standards as in treat me like an equal, look at my boobs and fishnets.

Bleeding heart liberals will support her but she lacks either awareness or professionalism or both

Still would though!

Could we all agree to a ceasefire? A thread for Corrie fans should be above this sort of behaviour - anyway, the Callum saga gets resolved this week, I believe. I reckon Mary will get him in a headlock, whilst dressed Mexican-wrestler style, as Emily punches him in the goolies.

We can but dream.....

I think they have missed a trick here with Mary - she's clearly mad as a box of frogs and the kind of person you probably want on your side.

Mary slapping seven bells out of Callum - now that would be a sight to behold smile

Have they got a thing for the Pontiac Solstice?
Another one on tonight's episode.
Certainly no product placement there

I wonder if we might see the return of a former character tomorrow night?

Norris goes into the storeroom of the Kabin, and the ghost of Ena Sharples appears, on her way to the Glad Tidings mission?

No. Slightly more recent than that.
It was reported in the press months ago that Bekky was returning to save her sister from the Callum situation, since then, it's all gone quiet!
