I'm going for the Platts wake up in the morning, come down and the builders have concreted over the top.
I said the same, but I also thought they were supposed to be filling the hole in? So they pump it full of concrete!?Not that I'm thinking of bumping off Mrs WR or anything....
It would have been far more fun if David & Kylie had managed to bundle the body into the boot, popped back inside, and then Tony & Todd had nicked and burnt out the car, not knowing about the body.
And David & Kylie left wondering if Callum wasn't dead at all, had escaped and driven off. And Tony & Todd hearing on the local news about the charred body in the boot and thinking they had killed him by accident. And neither couple knowing of the other's involvement. Could have dragged on for months.
God...I should be writing the bloody script.

A very good scenario...put your name forward for the job.......And David & Kylie left wondering if Callum wasn't dead at all, had escaped and driven off. I can't wait for the next action packed episode..........

And it appears in the live show there was a marriage proposal from a fan on the notice board in the rovers, love it.

I said the same to the other half, missed opportunity there I think. And David & Kylie left wondering if Callum wasn't dead at all, had escaped and driven off. It appeared that Callum's phone remained in the Platt household overnight and he received at least one call and one text in that time I think.
Won't it be obvious that the phone remained in the same cell as the Platt household overnight if they check through the network?
I'm not sure if the police do that or not or if it would constitute evidence or be circumstantial (he could be elsewhere in that cell for instance or forgot his phone somewhere within the cell)
I'm hoping for an epic twist like Curly Watts turns up on the street again and the police fit him up with the crime.

I Reckon the script writers have err.. shafted themselves, so to speak.
I think that it will be left to settle as it is with the three stooges keeping the secret, albeit in a wobbly way for a while. Every now and then they will allude to the room, but that will be it, until the ratings need a mega boost again.
I wonder how long they can keep the 'funny smell' story a credible one for. A year, two maybe?

The manhole needs a double seal to prevent smells prior to screeding over ... that's the easiest way to cover that issue ... I doubt David knows that though ... someone (Jason) should tell himAs Coppice said in a previous post, Sarah's acting is getting better. She was pretty good in Friday's episodes.
When David said he needed some family time, aka a bunk-up, it reminded me of Eric Morecambe when he called "Two-Way Family Favourites" have your family the favourite way........
I have bored you all before with my fondness for the Steve/Lloyd friendship, but it really was one of the best things about Corrie. Their last day together was a gem - as Michelle remarked "they're probably behaving like a couple of 10-year olds".The staring competition, enthusing about boys' days out with JCBs and heavy plant cranes, and the seaside donkey race when Lloyd had hidden sugar lumps - "a banned substance". Michelle hit it on the head "they really do love each other".
BTW I thought Steve's absence from the leaving party with a hangover was the writers' excuse because he was having a break from the show, but then he turns up again. Did I miss something?
