I wouldn't blame him! She's thick as a plank, but then so is he - and who needs to talk when you look like that?

Beth drew something inappropriate on her Etchasketch when she was 10 years old.......I reckon it would be well received on the "juvenile things that make you snigger" thread.

And nice to know that "mad as a box of frogs" Mary fancied Huggy Bear rather than the two heroes of the series. It's the way she delivers her lines that's so good - just as if it was obvious that he was the fanciable one.

Loved Beth's line about Brokeback Mountain being Kirk's favourite film and how he 'can't watch it without a box of tissues'!

Is this a prelude to Kirk falling in love with Chesney?

I reckon Billy has inadvertently let Sarah off the hook. She now thinks everything's OK about the murder - she's so naive and will accept whatever a vicar says as gospel. "He had what was coming to him".

But has Todd twigged? The little creep could be the fly in the ointment. It's all sooooo exciting.

I'm still confused about what sort of "racing" the producers have come up with that involves a tuned Clio competing on a weekday, overtaking another car (so not a sprint) but deffo racing (so not a track day) and getting covered in mud. And apparently there's big money to be made - so not a club meeting. Why don't they just do a bit of research before they start these storylines?

"That's all you'll have if you keep going..."

Brilliant.

That had crossed my mind, but the amount of mud wasn't enough. And the car looks very much like a road car with a minimal amount of competition prep. It certainly doesn't look like it is tough enough for rallycross. It's just all so silly, except for the fact that the producers know the majority of viewers wouldn't know the difference - they're not all on PH.

Oh Eastenders is trailblazing at the moment.

We've just had the young bloke serial very-OAP granny shagger.

Now a bit of disabled/dwarf action.

Where will they go next?

It's a few hours since I watched but I'm fairly sure I remember Hope actually said a word instead of communicating via telepathy.

I suspect if she speaks the parents get paid a much higher rate for that episode.

Neigbours used to be hilarious for that very reason, only the main characters could speak, all the extras were mute because they were on a budget!

smile

Bugger wrong soap, but I thought it was amusing, so will leave it in.

Well this "blackmail" plot with the racing car must be one of the weakest most stupid plots I've ever seen on Corrie in fifty years......

a) The prize money is only around £500......

b) This is assuming the race is won.

I think the "Street" is losing the plot at the moment, the new "owners" of the factory, the Callum plot which is dragging on far too long, Gary's "wedding" etc, etc....

Roll on the new producer that hopefully will shake things up a bit and get rid of the dead wood

She was after a one night stand with Jason but that storyline seems to have died a death for some reason. She should have a reasonably noticeable bump by now.
