The official PH Coronation Street thread

Beth drew something inappropriate on her Etchasketch when she was 10 years old.......I reckon it would be well received on the "juvenile things that make you snigger" thread.
And nice to know that "mad as a box of frogs" Mary fancied Huggy Bear rather than the two heroes of the series. It's the way she delivers her lines that's so good - just as if it was obvious that he was the fanciable one.

I reckon Billy has inadvertently let Sarah off the hook. She now thinks everything's OK about the murder - she's so naive and will accept whatever a vicar says as gospel. "He had what was coming to him".
But has Todd twigged? The little creep could be the fly in the ointment. It's all sooooo exciting.
I'm still confused about what sort of "racing" the producers have come up with that involves a tuned Clio competing on a weekday, overtaking another car (so not a sprint) but deffo racing (so not a track day) and getting covered in mud. And apparently there's big money to be made - so not a club meeting. Why don't they just do a bit of research before they start these storylines?

Classic just now, made me laugh, kid talking to Kathy Beale (Gillian Tayforth), "blah blah blah and keep your head down", head down I thought of Range Rovers
Bugger wrong soap, but I thought it was amusing, so will leave it in.

We'll let that one go.......
Well this "blackmail" plot with the racing car must be one of the weakest most stupid plots I've ever seen on Corrie in fifty years......
a) The prize money is only around £500......
b) This is assuming the race is won.
I think the "Street" is losing the plot at the moment, the new "owners" of the factory, the Callum plot which is dragging on far too long, Gary's "wedding" etc, etc....
Roll on the new producer that hopefully will shake things up a bit and get rid of the dead wood
