Just a thought for the OP who is the font of knowledge on all matters Corrie - is that picture of the boy scout still on the wall of the entrance lobby at Ken's house? Is it a photo or some sort of engraving, and if it's a photo, is it the young Albert Tatlock?
The public demands answers.
Must be honest...never noticed it....The public demands answers.

Remember the cock and balls jelly moulds Deidre had in the kitchen on the wall?
Yes, alas no mention of it here:-http://tvor-downeast.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/secret...
Probably the favourite Corrie interior wall covering was Stan & Hilda Odgen's three ducks on her "murial".....

Well lots happening in last night's episode...
What a dilemma for Sally....How is she going to break the news to Tim?...moreover DOES she want to break the news?...she strikes me she doesn't know what she wants........
Meanwhile, over at the Kabin Fay's plans to become a paper girl were thwarted, when Norris found out she was only twelve...
Over at Owen's house relations are still frosty with Anna, so much so that he storms out to the Rovers... The postcard from Phelan did not help much in that regard...
Life's never dull on the cobbles.....

Personally. I couldn't stand Tina, (the character), although she did have a rough time when her dad died, after falling off the boat in the lake district.......
btw:- Considering her dad Joe (a kitchen fitter) did the wall tiling in Gail's kitchen it is pathetic, a two year old could have done a better job, and as for the grouting............have a look next time......
Meanwhile, things seem to be back on track at the knicker factory...until the next crisis......

Yes, another couple of decent episodes last night, Gary was very lucky to get out of that one, Izzy would have had his guts for garters....
Had to laugh at Drearie's brief transatlantic phone call to "Ken" in Canada. Surely he is due to return to the set soon, breeze in as if nothing had happened....
I remember when Len Fairclough got "killed" in a car crash on the way to his "lover" near The East Lancs Road...it went a little like this:-
Everyone drinking normally in the Rovers.......Telephone on the bar rings.....
Phone get's picked up.......voice on other end (Police) says........"Len's Dead"!
Announcement to drinkers........"Just had a phone call, Len's been killed"
Stunned silence for 20 seconds......
"Pint please Bet"...............

- Exclusive* You heard it here first....In a couple of months a storyline will feature a Rovers cricket match....I cannot say any more........

Something's that's always puzzled me is the layout of The Rovers.
If you look at it from the outside the front doors join right up to the party wall with Ken and Deidres, however inside there are doors to the toilets on that wall. Are people going to the toilet in the Barlows kitchen?
Well they seem to have thought of that when they designed the new set at Salford Quays...If you look at it from the outside the front doors join right up to the party wall with Ken and Deidres, however inside there are doors to the toilets on that wall. Still not a great deal of space for the ladies and gents. That looks about 3ft wide! The best bit of frontage in The Rovers is Eva's........

I had a good look at Deirdre's grouting last night - it's a lot straighter than the sinews in her neck.
How does Eccles stay so trim? Did you see the number of dog treats she keeps in the kitchen?
(BTW the acting of every member of Kal's family is suspect. I think they were selected from passers-by in the street)
No,.... it's Gail's grouting fitted by boyfriend Joe (Tina's dad)...(The kitchen fitter)..(ex)How does Eccles stay so trim? Did you see the number of dog treats she keeps in the kitchen?

All those years ago in the school play if someone said to be an actor as you can be "intimate" with women so far out of my league its another planet - maybe I would have taken drama classes. That or a pop star!
Well "boring" Ken Barlow had 25 lovers in the street, including in 1973, Joanna Lumbley in her prime, as well as over 1000 in real life:-http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/bill-roache-h...
