Yet again we get the old story - Maria is off because of a sick relative. Can't they think of anything else, like she's been invited to Geneva to discuss a problem they're having with the Hadron Collider?
Sad to see Julie being written out -hopefully it's temporary.
Finally - David Platt is back to his best. Evil little sh*te. Excellent, welcome back mate........

No apparently it was a false alarm, and she told the Chesney's girlfriend. Just a one off line, easy to miss.
Ah, thanks for that. I thought it was odd. Obviously a change of plan for a plot that could've had considerable mileage.Wacky Racer said:
"Judgement at Nuremberg".....
Who writes these scripts?
That line was classic Corrie. I mean, of all the Judy Garland films, Anna picks that one........Who writes these scripts?
At last we know - Luke's sport is Track car days, which makes more sense than actual racing. Quite where betting comes into it, who knows? Presumably those taking part have private wagers about the fastest laps.
I knew there was going to be a budding romance with Ken and Audrey, but I thought the writers would leave it a while. Deirdre's only been gone a few weeks.
Sir sir I know the answer - Luke has gone Time Attack.Which has obviously branched out into early morning mid week events. Judging by some of the driving I have seen at TA events he should do well..(yes yes, some are very quick and competent drivers but others are not taking calls from Mr Apex)

I remember my parents telling me I had to go to bed after Corrie when I was 10. Ken's love life is like waiting for a bus....two come along at once.....decisions decisions........
Meanwhile, Gary has done a runner...will the wedding still go ahead?
What amazes me about Corrie is the way they just slide a new character in, and within a week it's like they have been in the show years.....
Nice to see Ted Robbins back in good health, he lives nearby me, and has lost even more weight than when you saw him on Corrie this week, I guess he's lost nearly five stone since he had his heart attack on stage in Manchester, last year, during the Phoenix Nights charity shows.
Top man.....(Paul M'cCartney's cousin).

He was good in The Shawshank Redemption
I can't wait for Mary's book to be finished. I reckon it'll read like Spike Milligan's autobiography - funny neurotic.

Ted Robbins, brother of Kate Robbins the English actress, comedienne, singer and songwriter. She came to prominence in the early 1980s when she scored a No.2 hit on the UK Charts with the song "More Than in Love", while she was appearing in the TV soap opera Crossroads. She went on to become a prolific voice artist, most notably for nine years with the satirical show Spitting Image.
Obviously a talented family.

Indeed. They must have learned a few tips from their dad, who was a Butlin's redcoat...Obviously a talented family.
Here's Ted interviewing his second cousin, Macca.....
