Yeah, I noticed that too....I thought I was seeing things. The car "looks" mint in all other respects....

Me too. Always thought it was an immaculate original or (more likely) a well restored one, but that 'repair' looked dire eek

Izzy's chair doesn't half shift. Has she had it mapped?

PS Crazy Nights by Kiss on the jukebox whilst Mary was talking. Crazy Night, Crazy Lady.

That was my first thought too - will Jason lose the yard, or is the mug going to be Kev?

Mary is brilliant. Yesterday after she was caught by Dev, the way she walked upstairs, sheepishly turned sideway, was too funny.

The actress who plays Mary deserves a gong. There are some great actors and actresses on the cast; Norris, Anna, Roy, Alex to name a few.

Mary - "Mother was prudish - she wouldn't eat a banana in public" laugh.

More fuel for the "size of soap houses" fire - Dev's house just doesn't have the footprint for more than 2 or 3 bedrooms. Surely the kids now have separate rooms? That'd mean 4 bedrooms. Pedantic, moi?

I'm like a London cabby tonight - "and another thing.....", Kev's front room must be all of 5 or 6 feet deep. It's the length of his hallway.

Both of my grannies had a front "parlour". It was only used for special occasions and maybe Christmas. They always smelled musty and we kids weren't allowed to touch anything. My dad's mum even had an aspidistra (I am not lying) and antimicassars on the backs of the armchairs. My mum's mum had a large collection of Wade Whimsies. Distant memories.

Good episodes tonight - lots going on. Poor Mary, lost in her own fairytale which she'd started to believe. For me, Brendan and a Saab don't "fit" - I'd had him down for a Kia Sedona.
