Well what did we all make of "the wedding" then?

Nick looked like his head was going to explode....smile

Poor chap.
Odd twists in the whole thing. First it was no, then yes, then no. Presumably the last straw was when he realised just how many people knew about Carla's "mistake" - all the same, after admitting that he didn't care, and still loved her, it did seeme a bit odd when he finally flipped. His head looked like "The Mekon".

I rather hoped Roy would step into the breach and offer to marry her instead. The honeymoon video would be interesting.

What I like about a soap wedding is that all the girls get extra-dolled-up. Some top totty on view. Except Fiz, who was still in a changing-room somewhere in Greater Manchester. THeir ploy of buying a dress and then taking it back is clearly going to end in disaster.

What will the likely outcome be when the 'body in the manhole' is found? Arrests all-round, or will they blame Tony and all get off scott-free? scratchchin

Useless plod investigation will go nowhere and 6 months later the whole thing will be forgotten, ain't that the way of the street.

I don't think Sarah Lou would last thirty seconds under police interrogation, she is a nervous wreck, if you said boo to her, she would jump through the roof.

I've no doubt Kylie and David wouldn't crack though.

Good idea blaming Tony,.... hadn't thought of that...dead men tell no tales.

As the case progresses, Tony will probably turn up in Eileen's shower....

Blimey!!!!

Typical soap car crash, but multiple this time. Contrived and all a bit silly, but we know we love it.

PS Has Ty considered selling all that scrap yet?

What an episode......More action in half an hour than the previous two years....hehe

We've had two railway viaducts collapse, five murders, three Rovers fires, one fire at Victoria Court flats ,one corner shop and now a house demolished...yikes

I think I need a stiff drink

Yes, and Fiz' new frock will have got dirty too.

I couldn't understand Ty's "I think I've run over someone". The corpse is under concrete and at the point he said that, the floor hadn't collapsed. Lily??????

So:-

Callum is buried under a metre of concrete. We know this 'cos there was a scene previously which showed damp coming up through it.

If this is the case, why did the floor collapse with the weight of the lorry front wheel?

I could understand it if it was just wooden joists and floorboards.

Maybe we'll find out more tonight.

Things are going from bad to worse for Carla, she is a walking disaster, even Roy gave her a dirty look.

Callum was thrown into the drain via an inspection or manhole cover, the whole lot was then just covered with a thin layer of screed (on top of the cover) to level it off.
I don't think in real life you would have a major drain the size of that running under a garage and manhole covers are designed to take the weight of cars and vans....

I was more bemused at cars and vans swerving all over the place and all of them managing to miss Tracey irked

Having watched "what's happening tomorrow", I feel quote sorry for Carla as she will have destroyed her relationship with Roy - Saying that, just how long does it take to go to get a bloody car anyway? And the "traffic jam" - Urgh.

As an aside, will anything ever be done about Tracy having started that fire? Surely something has to be done about that?

I'm not sure we've ever really known where Roy parks the woodie. I've always assumed that, because Roy is so pernickety, he's been renting a lockup somewhere in the neighbourhood.

I think initially 'Son of' will get the blame.

I think we all knew about Carla, although I hope they leave it open for a possible return. Kylie left to have a sprog some time ago and has returned in the last few months. I had no idea there was a permanent departure on the cards.

PS who's the Street's babysitter these days? It used to be Emily, who's now wearing bright woollen ponchos and chewing coca leaves. Who looked after Hope and Ruby when Fiz and Ty were out buying the dress? These are questions that demand an answer!
