Another example of Corrie "product placement" like the chubb lock on the gates during the half time credits?
Is that meant to be product placement? It looks ancient. It is a bit out of place, like the Nationwide ATM in Dev's shop, when you never see a Nationwide ATM that isn't attached to a branch.

Well yes, the lock has seen better days, but you can just about make out the makers name.

You may well be right though, it was only an assumption...smile

We all thought the fight in the cab office was a farce, but the "spilling" of the beer in the conservatory was IMO even worse. The whole scene was telegraphed - the saving grace was Sophie knowing her mother oh so well and suggesting the "summer house".

Rev Billy's life is a bit of a balls-up. (no pun intended.....)

Callum's mum coming into the plot asking Billy to do the service was an unexpected twist...piling even more pressure on the poor bloke with everything else going on....

Yes, it was pretty obvious what was going to happen to Sally's new dress...smile

This is what sets Corrie apart from other soaps like EastEnders...the comedy element.

You think some black gangster dude wking in the toilet and having to carry the pot of the arisings under his armpit to keep it warm for impregnating his 2' 8" white disabled dwarf sister so she can have a baby isn't funny? Get over to BBC1!

Izzy's testimony was pretty comprehensive and really covered a lot of bases in the argument in favour of cannabis as a palliative. Corrie is like a lot of soaps, and likes to cover modern issues - I wonder if one of the writers has first-hand experience of this type of drug use?

He looked and sounded like one of the BBC's news presenters - somehow I doubt if it's him.

Phelan made a strong suggestion tonight that he's got one over on Jas. A huge favour is now owed.

The black fella? Wasn't he in Eastenders a good while back?

No doubt he will be making his move in the next week or so......and it will involve Jason's "inheritance".

I really hope the Steve/Michelle saga doesn't drag on for weeks.....getting boring now.

It appears Izzy pleaded not guilty ? And then droned on - and on - about how she had to use cannabis and that the officer had been a pain. Sounds more like it should have been guilty but in mitigation ..

I do find she grates- her accent has always sounded generic Oop North- unlike whiny Manc Kevin and cut the Lancs accent with a knife and fork Sinead.

Agree about Steve and Michelle. Well past its sell-by date.

What did Tony leave Jas? The flat and some cash, wasn't it? The yard was already in Jason's name I think. Maybe Phelan will "suggest" that Jas transfers his cash inheritance into Pat's name to hide things from the cops in case Jas goes to the slammer, or some such ludicrous plotline that has nothing to do with the real world.

Pretty clear evidence tonight that Kylie is pregnant. Seems like only the other day she was having her first. Now her t-shirt sticks out quite a distance. Fertile as the Nile delta.

PS Soap Police not as dumb as we think - they turned up at Callum's funeral to see who else turned up.

Phelan d*cked Owen, then Norris, and now his "bessie" Jason. Anyone else?

How much do you get for second hand made to measure windows! £0? Wouldn't be worth the effort of nicking them.

I see fake leopard skin clothes have made a comeback in the rovers - on the gay wimpy bloke, a homage to Bet Lynch?
