Those two "toughs" from Callum's boozer the Dog and Gun (actually "The Park" in Wythenshawe) giving Gemma hassle look about as hard as a bowl of rice puddin'......

Last night one of the toughs warned customers "you don't wanna go in there mate, the owner's a div.". That's well 'ard speak! james_tigerwoods said:
We know that Kylie's for the off, but my girlfriend last night insisted that Norris was involved.
That's BS. Right? Right??
She assumes Kirk's role as Nozzer's draughts-buddy and keeps on beating him. Eventually they resort to strip-draughts and Kylie is violently sick over Emily's antimacassar when she sees Norris' morning glory. She can stand it no longer, and flees the street. That's BS. Right? Right??

Last night one of the toughs warned customers "you don't wanna go in there mate, the owner's a div.". That's well 'ard speak! Speaking of baby faced, Chesney still looks about nine, although he'll have the last laugh when he's seventy and looks about thirty five.
(Mrs WR knows his family well in real life btw).
There are some serious holes in this kebab shop plot!
First Gurning Ches is away from the shop because he's gone to the cash n carry with Dev. Why does it take 1.5 grown men to pick up some pitta breads?
Next she's on her own again because Ches' has gone to the C&C yet again.
Dev comes in and Ches' tells him he was on the till all day

Maybe they hoped no one would notice.....First Gurning Ches is away from the shop because he's gone to the cash n carry with Dev. Why does it take 1.5 grown men to pick up some pitta breads?

But they reckoned without the PH Corrie Sleuths.......

You misheard - he said " the owners a DEV" and he would be right!
Yes, but Dev is a "div", so in that respect he was right. What a farcical scene in The Rovers with "flat cap man" going behind the bar to serve himself...but fortunately well 'ard Caz saved the situation with her army close combat training, routing his mate.....
MrOnTheRopes said:
Nah, he definitely said "div" - just checked again and it's clear as a bell
Maybe he thought Ches was the owner. He doesn't come across as being totally clued-up.Poor management at the Rovers with Michelle being left on her own. Sarah is sick, Sean is on holiday, so Liz should have organised herself or Steve on the rota. That's a really basic error - they need some management consultants to set them straight.
BTW if the Platts leave the street, who pays the mortgage? Gail transferred the house to David, and it'll leave only herself and Michael (?), Sarah and Bethany to cover the costs of running the place. None of them has a proper job. Or is he thinking of renting the place to cover mortgage costs, with Gail applying for housing benefit? These things MUST be considered - I can't believe that the writers haven't had sleepless nights over this conundrum. Anyone would think they ignore real life.
