Nobody watches soaps, you know that, confirmed on every TV quiz show, where every soap question answer is preceded by the mandatory disclaimer 'I never watch but...'

Not a word in The Times ; and I forgot that I had not yet seen last night's second episode when I read this . Bugger.

Sorry mate. I obtained my knowledge from Hansard.

Does Wacky know if I'm right, that Steve had "the snip"?

Plenty of action tonight, David should have taken that creep Clayton's head off with that scaffolding pipe, but now the law must take it's course.....he'll be banged up with Big Jim in the Big House, but no doubt he'll out in five,.... so he will.

How long before Johnny and Jenny get it together, Jenny offered him her "full attention"....smile
I think they will get together, but only because there's something in it for her. She's a "user".
After his performance i'd say they were pretty much as bad as each other, he just seemed to dick around in the flat for an hour while she waited in the pub?

As unlikely as the Steve/Leanne situation is, it looks like the gift thst keeps on giving for Corrie fans. I can see some alarms and amusements in the months to come. It makes me smile when Michelle can't work out that her usband is lookimg as shifty as Mr.Shifter the Brooke Bond chimp. "Dad, do you know the piano's on my foot?"

The actress who plays Caz is so awful. Why don't they put her (and us) out of her misery and send her off to the army glass house. She is more wooden than a really wooden woody thing!

There are quite a few wooden actors in Corrie (you can't expect the RSC) but she really is abysmal. There's no depth or warmth whatsoever. You could leave her in Kielder and nobody would find her.

I thought it was a bit random when Eileen was telling Pat the story of Julie and Brian and the round-the-world trip. Maybe they're being written back into the script. I hope so - 2 good characters who add to the show.

I looked at Eileen's kitchen and couldn't see a washing machine. Slut.

I hardly ever watch other soaps, but I was thinking today that the only person who could "add" something to Corrie would be June Brown. Real quality actress. She carries Eastenders on occasion.

I saw Brian in a cinema live screening of Richard III from the Almeida Theatre last week . We knew he was familiar but took ages to suss out who he was- context is all. I await Norris' King Lear, Sinead's Juliet and Kirk's Coriolanus with bated breath ...

You watch Eastenders?

Wash your mouth out!

Last time I saw that Dirty Den was killed.

Nice to hear "Brian" might return, him in, Caz out.....fair exchange.

I haven't watched EE since "'allo, princess". I occasionally read about it on the 'net, or it crops up on the news. Honest. Promise.

I agree with the "exchange" - very fair indeed. Hopefully he'll be kipping on Ken's sofa in the near future.

What a shock - Katherine Kelly (Becky) can't make it to the funeral. At least they remembered to write her name into the script.

Steve may have his own commune biggrin ! I thibk he's losing the plot - I wouldn't be surprised if he has some sort of breakdown.

I really like Amy's cynicism. She passes excellent remarks about adult behaviour.
