Did they substitute a new Sinead half way through an episode?
Her and dull Ches have never been a good match, it just shows how unreal Corry is when gurners like him get some decent lookers.

Was saying the same to S tonight. She's a looker IRL (not dressed down plain how she is on the show) and the disparity with Katie was even greater, she's WAG material FFS, not one to go for a ginger weasel who serves kebabs!
And that dress on Eva, couldn't take my eyes off them eek

I am sure Sinead is a sweet girl etc but she's defined by her sheer ordinariness.Unremarkable and slightly saurian looks from very wide-set eyes, no academic but not entirely thick and mainly defined by a lovely accent you could carve up with a knife and fork. Girl next door yes-but 'stunna' ? (other sexist terms are available)-not in a million years.

I missed the second Corrie episode as I though Michelle would lose the baby and I didn't want to watch that - But Gemma is a real plus to Corrie lately.

The Phelan storyline rubbish is annoying though - It's just not believable. Wouldn't Kev have called to verify anything by now? If it was me, I'd be chomping at the bit for it.

Also, on the subject of the Garage - Where does it open out to at the back? Does Kev have space to "hold" other cars he's working on? Where are the piles of half finished derelicts that half the little local garages tend to have?

It opens at the back onto whatever the street is that has the bistro under the arches. I would guess that in real life there would be double yellows - it's a narrow road. However this is a soap garage. Apropos the amount of work they get - they have the contract for Street Cars, and IIRC they have other similar fleet contracts. I'd still like to know about the second garage.

A soap garage is similar to a soap factory. Underworld has about 12/15 stitchers who work at snail pace producing orders of a few dozen pairs of grundies, yet all the wages get paid, and the management can eat out at the bistro most nights. Reminds me of Emmerdale and Eric's "factory" where half a dozen women painted figurines suitable for sale at boot fairs or street markets, yet Eric always had a good standard of living.

Wacky - LOVED the clip of Mary's self-service.......laugh

Sinead modelling one of Chesney's leftover dog collars, from when he used to be a market trader, before he became a high flying kebab executive.

Johnny's certainly aged since 'love actually' but that was 14 years ago.

+1 That guy must be the only solicitor in the world to turn down work and to hold confidential meetings in a crowded pub with the opposition within earshot.

I think the actor playing Tyrone was struggling to keep a straight face!

Blimey - that was pretty heart-wrenching. Very well done by soap standards. What will this do to Steve and Michelle's relationship? He's going to have another kid by someone else, and have to ignore it.

On a lighter note, loved Gemma's story about making up after a row by having sex on top of a bus shelter.

Yes, very upsetting, full marks to all the actors involved.

Looks like Adam Barlow isn't going to give up on the "claim" so easily, he's like a dog with a bone.....
