Yes, let's get back on topic...Now, about Ena Sharples......
On Topic - more revelations tonight.
Corry football "news". No mention of Tommy Orpington though, weirdly!

So:-
According to this, Kev must have two garages, the original small one in the corner to the right of the Kabin, AND the one that's just blown up , to the right of Nick's Bistro.
I wonder if the intense heat has compromised the railway viaduct, we don't want ANOTHER tram through Dev's shop do we?

Interesting, thanks for that....http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/articl...
Going back to the football connection, of course Ken Barlow's Younger brother David Barlow (Alan Rothwell) was a professional footballer in London, before he broke his leg and took over the corner shop with wife Irma in 1965.
So Detective Inspector Tyrone has worked out it was Kevin wot done it just as the real police arrive to arrest Kevin. The Weatherfield Police are spectacular! They arrest anyone at the drop of a hat and always in the pub in front of a crowd.
Great idea having all the CCTV streaming to a laptop which you leave in the garage Doh!!
If the police had bothered to look around the pub they could have spotted the real culprit with his "fair cop it was me wot done it" face on display.

I can see why Tyrone jumped to that conclusion,.. Kev's money problems, his keys found at the scene...Great idea having all the CCTV streaming to a laptop which you leave in the garage Doh!!

Not looking good for him.
Meanwhile, will Peter Barlow keep his gob shut about Steve's drunken revelation?
Anyone know of any interesting motors that have appeared in episodes, in the past or recent years?. I only ask because I discovered there was once an Aston Martin DB5 convertible used during a few episodes around 1992. Some may not remember so far back, but it was during the time when con man mechanic Doug Murray (played by the late Brian Hibbard) appeared working with Mike Baldwin. I think his business was in dealing with classic cars, but this collapsed and he ended up in Weatherfield working for MBV Motors. He eventually fled in Baldwin's Jaguar. Was the Jag an XJS?
I've heard the DB5 was only shown briefly. Anyone know where I can find clips from episodes showing the DB5 or screenshots?.

I remember "Doug" quite well, bit of info here:-I've heard the DB5 was only shown briefly. Anyone know where I can find clips from episodes showing the DB5 or screenshots?.

Brian was probably best known as the lead singer of the 80's group The Flying Pickets

Mike Baldwin has had several Jaguars over the years including two XJS's, can't recall an AM in the programme though...sorry.
On a different subject, just read today that "Gemma" is actually 29 in real life.....
I bet everyone forgot he also appeared in an episode of Heartbeat in about 1995 playing a character named Jason Brown, a Bob Dylan impersonator. That's where I seem to remember him from more than anything, didn't know he was a lead singer of a group. I believe he also played another character in a later series episode.
Here's the car in question on the street; wish there was a recording of an episode with the AM in it, or a clip, but can't find anything on the net or on youtube amongst the Corrie clips:
