You make a good point,sir. Having said which, nothing in soap plotland would surprise me. When you consider the liberties taken over the years with different actors playing the same part, characters wandering off into the sunset and suddenly re-appearing etc.. I'm expecting Michael to knock on Gail's door when she's having a shower, explaining that he's got a bit of a headache and a strange tightness in his chest.

PS when did we last see Audrey? They said she wasn't feeling well, but I can't remember seeing her for some weeks now. Hope Sue Nicholls is OK.

At least we have been spared the ghastly Ryan , Michelle's son who now seems to have been erased from history- very Stalinist . We still get mentions of Steve's brother Andy though, and we got Toyah name checked for years before she was conjured out of the ether . Must be time for Big Jim to be released from The Big House too- 'Catch yersel' on, Elizabeth '

Are there no new depths that can be plummeted ? Toe cringingly awful, every single scene . I found the lock in almost unwatchable and I found myself loathing Michelle's Poundshop tragedy with a passion.

TBH I'd forgotten all about that. Maybe she's another of his gang's victims, but she seems a bit too old. Possibly she'd found out what he was up to, and he was checking up whether she'd gone to the peelers.

Yep. I saw it ages ago before I banned myself from visiting The Daily Fail website. One of their quality spoiler headlines "SPOILER ALERT: CORRIE SINEAD GETS PREGNANT" (so no chance of avoiding the spoiler)
