I've just been reminded gag happens to Kev's lottery win. Sophie got involved with a charity which turned out to be a scam, and lost it, apparently Ken's grandson was involved somehow to.
Thanks. I'd forgotten that. That's how soaps work - from one storyline to another and hope the viewer forgets.

"Rob" did some actual acting last night - he's usually so wooden. The look on his face when Peter came round!

Can't wait for the cricket match. I reckon it'll be top Corrie humour. Is Steph going to take part and turn out to be a wizard with the cherry? Is Kal's dad going to admit he used to be in Pakistan's squad when he was younger?

Tyrone's a partner in the business.

If he can't do mechanicing why is he not trying to get new business? Any why will he not get paid?

Some of these script writers need to run them under the eyes of people who live in the real world occasionally.

Typical audience denomination is worker ant - they wouldn't understand getting paid when not working or having insurance as nearly all self employed have. Its dumbed down innit.

There was a great exchange between Gail and Kylie. Gail turned up having spent the night with Les Dennis, and was shocked to see Kylie hoovering.

Gail: My word, you haven't used that in ages, I'm surprised you still know what to do with it.
Kylie: (looking at Gail and then Les Dennis) Is that what you said to him last night?

From shagging a real life Amanda Holden to pretend shagging Gail Tilsley, life can be cruel, alas poor Les.

Yes, well spotted, we had a chuckle at that too.

Great gag but showed intelligence beyond Kylie's limits, I reckon.

Also see that the foundations are now being properly laid for Jim's comeback - he's a hero for saving Peter's life.

When it emerges that Tony is trying to pull the wool over Fizz/Tyrone's eyes, the timing will be right for Liz to get back together with Jim, so it will.

Having said that, there are some ITV trailers that seem to suggest Tony might have a relationship with Tracy... has anyone seen that?

Last night's best one-liner? Beth - "You remember when Pippa Middleton's sister got married.....?". Yes- that'll be the future King's wife, then.

The ending was good, with Carla telling Michelle what Peter had said to her on his "death bed" - it was classic Hollywood cornfest, with the quizzical faces and all - I half expected an orchestra in the background playing "Dah - dah- daaaaahhh......"

BTW I hadn't realised that Ken Barlow was left-handed. Very sinister. biglaugh **

(** worker ants won't understand that).

Mutiny, Mr Christian? Mutiny?

(One in ten is killed as a punishment, originally in respect of a mutinous legion in the Roman army.)

I think the sinister/dexter thingummy goes back into the darkest mists of time - back when people thought there were witches and wizards (just like teenagers today still do), and continued into mediaeval days when knights jousted, and had to hold the lance in the right arm whether they liked it or not.

Anyhoo.... we digress.

Why on earth has Peter got so many 240v double plug sockets behind his bed in hospital. I don't think i've ever seen so many in 1 place and certainly not behind a hospital bed FFS.

Same reason in Holby and Casualty a Binatone £9.99 wall phone is dotted about en masse as it looks "techy" - they stuff anything techie in the set to make it look "authentic"

Were they from your emporium DS?......biggrin

I reckon the net is going to close in on Rob,..... about time too.

Will Tony have to stump up more than 2k to keep Fizz quiet? If so, he'd better get doing some more dodgy dealing to get some dosh together pretty sharpish.....
