This is silly now, Steves car is just not plausible even my missus said "how much" for the engine, they should have got him a RS Turbo or Eighties hot hatch to be enthused about - unless someone is about to tell me his illness makes you buy over priced kit cars with dodgy build quality. Steve is relatively astute in his business dealings I think the writers are overplaying it.
Agreed. Steve is early 40s. They could have got him to buy a late 80s XJS or similar, that would hark back to his early years of driving. He could easily spend silly money doing that up.

This kit car is a load of crap. No one would throw £5K+ at that bag of bolts, no matter how mental they were going.

Carla may think the matter is resolved, but I reckon Tracy's got other ideas. This one may run a bit further.

So - 2 builders and a mechanic (all with hands-on knowledge and experience of working with basic physics) could not see that the red sofa would never, in a million years, go through that gap. Unlikely scenario Corrie. Still, a good excuse to see Sally's snobbery rear its head again.

Yeah. but Sally quickly changed her mind when she found out the sofa had come out of a house in Hale Barnes, (a posh area just outside Manchester), also when it emerged was an exclusive "designer" make......smile

Regarding Tracy, personally I think that's the end of the "feud" now with Carla, she has got it out of the system by trashing her office..(I thought she may actually have set the factory on fire)..and I think even Tracy realises Carla has lost a lot too....her brother (in jail) and Tracy's half brother Peter, having done the "dirty" on her with Tina.

Did Tracy give Rob's keys back to Carla, or does she still have them? I can't remember. I must admit, I was expecting arson too. And when will Carla realise the alarm must have been turned off in order for Tracy to have gained access? Are the young lovers about to be rumbled?

You need to watch the episode again...biggrin

26 minutes in.

Tracy explained she remembered what the code was, because she sometimes used to go into the factory with Rob.

Looking back over the episode again, the alarm was not set, maybe Gary's bird turned it off when she entered with Gary, but it did not show her inputting any code on the show..

The mystery deepens.......

btw, Sally's new sofa is growing on me the more I see it......smile

I think Sally said it right when she said the sofa looked like Mick Jagger blowing a raspberry.

I have never seen anything more appalling, tacky and new money in my life. I'm guessing it's the sort of thing that Balotelli would have.

I've just had a look at the pukka Bocca red-lips sofas, and the one on Corrie clearly is a bodged-up copy made for the show. Did you see how tall and upright the back was? Didn't look anything like comfy as the actors claimed.

Whatever next? Fancy a soap making things up!

(PS Mario Balotelli wouldn't even know how to sit on a sofa without falling off. He makes Rooney look like a Mastermind champion.)

Youtube the clip of Balotelli trying to put on a training bib at Man City. Just brilliant. 50m sperm and Mario was the quickest! Jesus.

So, Tim can't read or write.

How did he converse with Faye via Social Media a while ago?

Faye asked him that when she found out he was illiterate, and he said he got a mate to help him.

Loving the sofa saga. Really well written. Corrie at its best. Tim is turning into a great character.
